Robintail saw her brother Jaystripe exit the den and give a small nod in her direction. Robintail nodded back and smiled slightly as the big tom. Her brother was a very intelligent cat as well, although sometimes Robintail feared that his ambition cold blind that brain of his sometimes. She looked back down and swallowed the last few bites of the vole. She licked around her muzzle afterwards to clean up any remains of the prey. She was just about to go join Jaystripe when Raccoonstrike bounded over to where she was. Robintail looked up at the tom and listened to what he had to say. Border patrol would give her something to do and Robintail didn't mind at all. "Alright then." She replied as she rose to her feet. "I'll go wait by the entrance then." She said with a small nod before she padded over to wait. Her long skinny tail swayed a bit from a small breeze that passed by. Robintail flicked her tail a bit but other than that she did not seem to notice much.

Jaystripe rolled his shoulders a bit and after a while he finally felt awake. He was just about to go find Duststorm to ask if there was anything that he could do when she came up to him to ask him to get together a few other cats for a hunting patrol. Jaystripe smiled a bit at this turn of events and then nodded. "Sure, I'll go and get them right away Duststorm." Jaystripe replied before he turned to go any get the cats she wanted. First he poked his head into the warriors den. "Desertbloom, Dawnfeather, wake up. You're needed for a hunting patrol. Meet me over by the entrance." Jaystripe didn't mind his loudness this time because all of the cats should be awake by now. If they weren't than it was a problem. Then he padded over to the apprentice den and poked his head in. "Seapaw, its time to get up. You're needed on the hunting patrol. Meet me, Desertbloom and Dawnfeather over by the entrance."

Silverspirit

Silverspirit gave her head a small shake. She could think about this later, not in the middle of the forest. Padding on ahead, the young she-cat let herself listen to the calming voices of the forest. Birds sang their songs from high in the trees, a slight breeze rustled the branches and the leaves. These were all peaceful to Silverspirit. Looking ahead of her, she could see she almost reached the stream. Suddenly she realized how thirsty she was. Quickening her step, Silverspirit reached the stream. The light grey warrior gracefully dipped her head and lapped the cool water.

Moonshade pricked her ears, and her beautiful dark coloured eyes looked confused for a moment before she saw another cat not too far from her by the shore. Looks like I'm not going to have any peace. Oh well, it's better to have company when you feel alone anyway. She stood, and her tail was risen a little higher now. She let out a friendly meow towards Silverspirit, as she noticed she was drinking. Her

Silverspirit perked her hears as she heard a meow. She stopped drinking and raised her head. Noticing it was Moonshade she dipped her head respectfully. She elegantly moved to greet her fellow denmate. "Good morning, Moonshade" Silverspirit mewed, her voice smooth with a friendly edge to it. She felt more comfortable around Moonshade then most of the other cats, since they both came from Thunderclan.

"Good morning," Moonshade mewed back, smiling. Silverspirit was one of the few that was actually part of Thunderclan and that comforted her. "How was your sleep? I don't know about you, but I haven't been able to sleep properly... you know. Ever since that day.." She sat down, wrapping her dark tabby tail around her delicate paws neatly.

Silverspirit nodded, understanding. "It's been the same with me. I have nightmares about the battles. The ones I faced when I was a young apprentice." She mewed. Remembering the dreadful battles. How bloody it was, seeing cats fall down. Many of them never getting up. Silverspirit saw all these things, not long after she was old enough to leave the nursery. She had always known they were bad, because she would hear the warrior talking about them. Though Silverspirit never knew that clan cats would fight like that.

Moonshade sighed, looking at her paws. She nodded with understanding. She flicked one ear and said softly, "Yea. I've been thinking of my old birth clan- I think you knew I wasn't born into Thunderclan. Stoneclan was attacked by a rogue clan and completely destroyed; they left no one alive... except for me. I was even betrayed by a tom who I was foolish to think he loved me..." She sighed. It was a little painful to speak of these old memories, but a good pain. She never really told anyone of them and it was good to let go. "After the thing with Thunderclan... Well, that just made it worse."

Silverspirit listened to Moonshade,giving a small nod. "I could never see you as being foolish. I think your birth clan is proud of you, for I bet their watching you from Starclan. I could remember as a kit, I would look up to you. You were so strong, and you always seemed to know what to do. No wonder you were made a deputy when you were so young. I just wish I could has seen Thunderclan, when.......you know.....everyone wasn't fighting." She meowed, showing a bit of mixed emotions in her eyes.
