Moonshade nearly jumped out of her fur at the sight of a cat behind her. She whirled around, indigo eyes huge. She relaxed a little, recognizing the tom's face. She had to raise her voice over the rumbling of the Thunderpath, "Snakestrike! What are you-" she paused, thinking he could easily be asking her the same thing. "Ah, yes... Yes I'm fine," she finished gently. She was favouring one side though, the side she'd fallen on. But it wasn't that bad. She glanced at the marigold, and back at Snakestrike. "I'm just getting some medicine for Featherswoop." Moonshade shivered a little as a cold breeze ruffled both their fur. She hissed at the cold; she hated Leaf-bare; no matter how pretty the snow looked, nothing good came of the beastly season. She sighed and blinked a couple of time, saying, "Would you like to help me? It's a rather large amount, despite the snow."

"Sure, but I never knew hunting for herbs could be dangerous," He said, trying to lighten the mood.

Moonshade let out a soft laugh. "Well, it is when they're on the Thunderpath," she purred, flicking her tail. She turned towards the dreadful thing again and lead him to the bundle of marigold. She ripped off a huge clump with her sharp fangs, careful to only tear off the stems, and not damage the leaves or flowers.

Snakestrike cut the stems with his claws. He rather not risk damaging the leaves or flowers.

Moonshade stood, smiling at him through the herbs in her mouth. She nodded and mumbled, "Fet's ro!" She started to head away from the Thunderpath, glad to be gone from it's stench and powerful monsters. She trotted through the forest, ignoring her sore side.

Snakestrike picked up the herbs and followed her.

I groaned and walked back into the den. Right. Focus. My eyes drifted to the tiny crack in the cave wall. A tiny leaf stuck out. Padding over, I quickly shoved it back in. Looking again, I realised I needed more of them [secret store of deathberries just in case] too. Sighing, I trotted out of camp and into the woods.
