The dog nudged him again, whining.

Drake shuddered some, and opened his eyes slowly, moaning.

The puppy whimpered again, nudging him.

Someone moved over near Drake, frowning at him.

Drake closed his eyes after a second again, and shuddered, coughing. "Nn.." he moaned weakly, everything distorted.

The dog nudged him again, whining.

"...Kid?" The man murmured, bliinking at him.

Drake let in a small gasp, his eyes opening. He glanced over at the blurry figure of the man, his eyes half open with blood still trickling down his mouth. "..Uhhnn.."

"Can you hear me?" The man asked, blinking at him, frowning.

Drake blinked at the figure, nodding weakly before he coughed. "Nn.." he murmured.

The man sighed quietly before he asked, "Do you need help?"

Drake's eyes closed again, and he coughed hard, shuddering. He didn't answer, wincing.
