Kage let go of the hunters arm and ran after him, his ears pinned and his hackles raised as he snarled. His muzzle was covered in the hunters blood and he followed the terrified man until he was out of the forest and far enough away to call safe.

maggie was laying on the ground dyeing from the shot

Kage turned and ran back to Maggie, nudging her gently. "If you give up on me I will jump in front of a car," he said, sitting down next to her with a wad of moss over her wounds to stop the bleeding. "I swear I will," he growled.

(she will be in a coma for 2 days but we can time skip)

Kage lifted Maggie off the ground and carried her away from the territories. He lay her down in a cave on the rock face and lay down next to her, tending to her every now and again to make sure she was ok.

3 days later she opened her eyes and did not know where she was and freaked out and tryed to run by her leg maade her fall "WHERE AM I!" she yelled

"Easy! I had to take you away from the territories so we didn't get into trouble. You got shot by a hunter," Kage said, sitting up nearby.

maggie was so happy she limbed over to him and gave his tons of freach kisses and hugged him for a long time

Kage smiled and hugged her back after giving her normal kisses. "You shouldn't be up moving around," He said, laying his head on her shoulders.

"what about my pack? they will tell me to stay in the cave of ingurs and i wont see you again" she said starting to cry
