Snakestrike went out into the woods towards the thunderpath. He wouldve tried to go annoy someone, but he needed to patrol.

Moonshade swallowed, taking in a breath and stood up straight. She tried to scent for the marigold, but that was completely useless. She started coughing hard. The toxic fumes of the Thunderpath were filling her mouth and she had to get out soon. But the moment she was about to climb back into the forest, she saw them. The flowers AND leaves. Her heart gave a little flip of joy and she ran over to it. Then, to her horror, right when she was close enough to bite off a good amount, she was too late at noticing the marigold was growing right on the line of the Thunderpath. She froze, feeling the loud, vicious rumbling of another monster, but she was too late. It past her with the speed of lightening, only a mouse-length away from where she was standing. The forceful burst of the creature pushed Moonshade off the ground and sent her landing in the bushes, hitting the ground hard. She let out a yelp of pain as a branch stabbed her in the side. I'm such an idiot. Her back felt seared with fire, although no heat touched it, and her whole body was sore. She got up groggily, wincing in pain, and tried to take the herbs once more.

Snakestrike heard a cat yelp. Someone got hurt! He sought her out and found Moonshade. "Are you ok??" He asked.
