The very day Spiderstar was born was a day I will never forget. It was a harsh leaf-bare, and the Clans were desperate. My daughter, Whitespider, had just begun to give birth one clear night. Her one son was born under the blessing of a full moon. I was not there when he was born, but on my way to the gathering. As the leader of ShadowClan, I lead my starving warriors to the meeting place. We were fourth to arrive, for SkyClan had yet to show. Nothing ever scared me, but I was frightened by the ravenous desperation in the eyes of my fellow leaders: Heatherstar of WindClan, Ashstar of RiverClan, and Loststar of ThunderClan. Their glares grew sharp as Mintstar lead SkyClan into the clearing. They were worst off than us all. Mintstar was thin and the rest of her warriors even more so. There was not one apprentice among them; not even her deputy. As the gathering began, the first thing Heatherstar announced was a shock to us all. "This leaf-bare has proven too much for all our Clans! The territory is not big enough for us all, especially with the twolegs building their new nests on the SkyClan border! One of us needs to go, and Mintstar's Clan is the weakest! Let us chase them out so the rest of us can live!" Even for a ShadowClan cat I was appalled at the din made by yowls of agreement, not able to believe my ears nor my eyes as I saw some of my own Clanmates chime in. I growled and shot down this nonsense. "What are you saying, Heatherstar?! There has always been five Clans in the forest!" She decided it was time for change and attacked Mintstar right there. I separated the two she-cats but not before the Clans divided. Before I knew it, the clearing had split in two halves of hissing cats, warriors from all five Clans found on both sides. That was the day the war began, and it raged on for moons. Trust was shattered and Clans hardly existed after a moon. We had turned into feeble groups of feral cats spread across the territory, fighting for... What? I was not sure most of them even remembered. They had grown accustomed to this life and had no intention to change. As I watched one grand-kit of mine grow and thrive, I witnessed two others die as well as my only remaining daughter. I knew I was not the only one to suffer and one night, Mintstar and I gathered warriors still loyal to us and told them to get everyone to come to the clearing where a gathering had not been held for countless moons. All us leaders had lost many lives and some of us only had one left. I planned to talk things out but when rain began to fall, most warriors, of which there were hardly any left, saw it as a sign that this was a mistake. They began to surround us leaders, snarling and snapping like vicious dogs. This next part I don't remember much, but I do know there was a flash of lightning and the big tree this dispute began in fell upon the five of us, and we have resided in StarClan ever sense. Who am I? My name is Phantomstar, and I have watched my grandson piece together TimberClan from the ruins I left behind. Though he is young, Spiderstar has done a wonderful job at rebuilding trust and loyalty for the past ten or so moons. But bitterness still taints the hearts if many that survived, and this illusion of peace can very easily come crashing down.

● DEATHBERRY (DEADLY NIGHT SHADE) ●
Berries, or any other part of the plant, when consumed will kill the cat who swallows if they are not given immediate help, and even then they may not always be saved. Roots & leaves may be chewed together and applied to sore places, but must NEVER be applied to open wounds.
This is a poison in addition to a healing plant.

Bile from the liver of the common mouse may be harvested and used to kill stubborn fleas and ticks.

Flower heads should be consumed together to relive continuous coughs.
Petals and Leaves should be chewed to aid in sleep and improve resting.

Spiderstar is noble and fair. He was born in ShadowClan and when he was a new apprentice, the battle started. He fought bravely but would never admit he was scared. He witnessed the death of his mother, Whitespider, as a young warrior and not too long after, the tree fell and crushed his grandfather, Phantomstar, along with the other remaining leaders of the five Clans. This was emotionally destructive for Spiderstar, and wit would take a while for him to marvel over the fact that he survived. After the death of the leaders, he noticed everyone staring at him. He seemed to be in some sort of spotlight and he heard murmurs of StarClan and "Spiderstar". Back then he was simply Spiderfall, a hardly experienced leader. Nevertheless, in his wonder, he was taken to receive his nine lives at the moonpool, only taking one warrior that would soon be his deputy. Duststorm was a half RiverClan half WindClan warrior that had spared his life, having lost family as well and he could think of no one more loyal or less corrupt to be his deputy. He is kind hearted but gets nervous under pressure, though hes a master at keeping himself under control and thinking rationally. Hes a great warrior but only an average skilled hunter. He can have clumsy paws, but on the other hand he is sometimes the swiftest cat in the forest. He loves to have fun but rarely finds time, considering he has to lead a broken Clan and keep them from turning on one another. Sometimes when he is alone and has time to think, he feels rather empty because all his family has died. He wouldnt mind kits, but hes afraid he wouldnt be able to find time for them.
There was only one cat he cared about after his mother died. Applesong, then Applepaw, was always on the back of him mind. He was scared hed lose her in battle, yet his mind was always so taken up by the present that he never acknowledged his feelings. She was on his mind a lot, but he never gave it a second thought. The night he realized he loved her was the night they became mates. It was the night the leaders died and the moonlight shown on him, choosing him as leader. She walked up to him, purring, and twined her tail with his. At first he was confused, but he realized he felt warm inside and was blushing slightly. He had found his true love from a kithood friend and the only time he had been happier was the moonless night their daughter Flickerkit was born, bearing the eyes of his grandfather, Phantomstar.

His fur is considerably long, even creating slight tufts on his ears. Most of it is dark, raven black with a handsome sheen. It is in one solid pattern along his back, tail, and head. His nose is also pure black, surrounded by white. The other half if his color is pure white; pure white legs and underbelly, chest and muzzle. There is no speckles of white in the black nor of black in the white. The color is pure and smooth.

His eyes are considered to be blue, a bright, pale sky blue in the light. But most of the time they appear a dull, slate gray. Even when they lack color, his eyes radiate intensity and life, and the determination and leadership of his grandfather.

Desertbloom is a little blank in the head. She can be absolutely clueless and oblivious to the most obvious things. Sometimes her brain just seems to stop working. However, when she is in her right mind, shes a very charming and clever she-cat. Shes not the nicest warrior, but there is a certain appeal. She has a smart way of talking though she has a very short temper. She never gets angry for no reason, though. When she blows her fuse she will thoroughly explain what you did wrong and how youcan fix it. The explimation calms her nerves and by the time the lecture is over, shes back to her quiet self. The only time she seems to speak is when shes telling someone to do something or correcting their actions. Shed sound bossy, but something in her tone assures you its not intended. She is just a bit OCD and needs order in her clanmates. She wont panic if they dont listen, but shell get close.

She has short yet silky fur, with the same pattern as Spiderstar; White legs, belly and muzzle and gentle orange tail, back and head. Her color is not as solid as her half-brother's, but she has an orange patch on her white muzzle and right front leg, as well as black speckles on her front left paw.

It is hard to say; sometimes they look pale blue, sometimes sage green, and sometimes clear gray.

Seapaw is a riddle, even to himself. He has constant conflicting feelings and is quiet like his mother. But unlike Desertbloom's lack of though, his mind explodes. He always has something on his mind, trying to figure it out. He is a very curious individual, and is never satisfied until a question is answered. Sometimes he forgets to speak because so many thoughts flood his mind at once. He likes to be alone because hes rather awkward socially, but then again, when he is by himself, he feels lonely and a longing for company. His curiosity gets him into unintentional trouble. Free spirited or adventurous would not be the words to describe him, but something more along the lines of oblivious and reckless.

He has medium length fur that is considerably thick. Most call it some shade of dark grey, but in the light, there is brown to be seen as well. Flickerkit knows she is pureblood ShadowClan and is insanely proud. Shes painfully stereotypical and proud that she bears her great great leader of a grandfather's golden eyes. She is brave and independent and absolutely hates being told what to do. She is terribly stubborn, yet smarter than anyone thinks. She is constantly underestimated because of her small size and is always trying to prove herself in dangerous ways. The only cats she even considers listening to are her parents, Spiderstar and Applesong. She brags every chance she gets, and it a real burden to the ears. She is dreadfully annoying, yet absolutely adorable when shes asleep. She still has her kit fluff and it is hard to take her seriously until she draws blood. She escapes camp a lot and only gets caught half the time. She knows the territory better than most young apprentices and her favorite place to be on pitch black nights is beside the thunderpath. She doesnt have a very developed sense of smell, so that does not bother her. She loves to watch the bright, glaring eyes of the monsters fly by. She is fascinated by their power and loves the whoosh of air they send by her. This is the only place she is ever silent and calm. Sense most of her clanmates recognize the scent the next day, she only goes there nights after a particularly bad day.

Flickerkit's fur is dark and thick, yet fluffy like a kit's should be. It has the feel of a feather and is the darkest shade of gray you can get without getting black. Its very soft and has a sort of ashy look.

He is a big, gruff tom. He has an intimidating look and voice and though he acts scary, hes truely a sweetheart. Hell snap at apprentices occasionally, but you can tell he doesnt really mean it (though sometimes he sounds pretty convincing). Hes a great storyteller and when hes telling stories, he can lose control of his volume and the whole camp can hear him. Wolfpelt was not always a warrior. In fact, he was for a very short time. He came to the Clan during the war, looking for his son, Sparrow, and his two grand-kits, Equinox and Solstice, who were apprentices at the time. He came just in time to see Sparrowclaw die and later found out the two apprentices had been killed as well. He was overwhelmed with grief for his son and two grand-kits that he never even met. He found Phantomstar, also the apprentices' grandfather, and asked to join ShadowClan. He befriended the leader and fought valiantly, for his son. Though the Clans were already split up, he considers himself ShadowClan like Sparrowclaw was. He was only a warrior of TimberClan for a few moons before retiring.

Shes a very quiet and confusing character. You never know what is going on inside her head. She hardly ever speaks to anyone but her brother and she is not who everything thinks at first. When you meet her you think she's just the quiet shy type that would rather keep to herself, but Stempaw is more a less a daredevil. She loves to go on adventures and gets in trouble a lot but it's hard to punish someone with an apathetic view on everything. She was only a little different before her father died in a flood and her mother from old battle wounds, but she doesn't like to think about them much.

Phantomstar comes off as a noble and fearless leader. The younger leaders of the other Clans tend to trust him, which is a risky move if you dont know what your doing. The older cats realize that he is stubborn and easily agrivated. He has a short temper and is quick to fight, however wisdom has come with age. He doesnt jump in to fights as willing as he would have when he was a young warrior, but he has een the cause of a few regretful battles. He has only been in love once and he has bitter memories of it all. From day one, his two daughters have been trouble. Whitekit had a sharp toung and behind the scenes, Stormkit was always getting in trouble. He ended up realizing Whitekit was like him, and he trained her as a brave and ambitious apprentice and hardly noticed Stormpaw. It was the day he named them Whitespider and Stormrose that things started getting out of hand. Immediately, Phantomstar suspected his daughter was doing something sneaky. It wasnt long before she blew a fuse, saying her name wasnt Stormrose anymore, just Storm and she was going to become a togue with the one she loved because no one loved her here. Phantomstar never saw her again, with life in her body that is. One day a strange tom showed up with two kits. Phantomstar did not trust him and when he said his name was Sparrow and the kits belonge to he and Storm it did not help. Phantomstar would have clawedthe tom's pelt off if it wernt for the way the two kits looked at him- looked like him. Looked like Stormrose. Sparrow had promised to be loyal and do Phantomstar's bidding if he helped him care for the kits, whos names were Solstice and Equinox, and Sparrow said Storm's last wish was that they grow up in ShadowClan but keep ther names. Phantomstar agreed and named the tom Sparrowclaw, but he still resents him and the day each of them became a father.

Solid, pale ginger, very nearly white. Most cats think hes some dark shade of white, not ginger. His fur is short but feathery and thick.

His eyes are a deep shade of gold that seem to shift and seirl differently with every emotion. When hes angry they seem to glow and the intensity seems to light up his whole body, but its obvious that they dont once you break eye contact.

He has broad shoulders and strong legs; his overall size is massive and intimidating. His facial features are not sharp but strong and he has a long tail. He has battle scars ong his left flank but theyre mostly hidden by his fur. His back legs have a few scars as well.

I love to socialise, especially at Gatherings! I think it's a good thing to get to know the cats that may or may not become your allies. That way, you can decide what to expect if you do end up fighting them one day. However, I always think you have to be careful when doing this, so that the cat does not become a friend; that wouldn't be fun if you do have to fight them. I respect my elders and will try to use manners when appropriate. Bad personality traits? Um.... I can be overactive, I suppose."

"My fur is short and somewhere between a mix of thin and thick. Most of my fur is a pretty shade of lilac, the tips speckled with white. All of my paws are white, but moreso my hind paws. The lilac isn't the only colour on my fur; I am definately calico, with patches of light grey tabby, dark grey tabby and pale ginger tabby, while the backs of my ears are black and dotted with bright ginger. Some of my lilac fur, especially on my left foreleg, has light brown tabby stripes too."

"Slim but average size for a she-cat. My paws and ears are in proportion with my body and my tail is just slightly longer than it should be. Featherpaw's personality can be described in few words: she is optimistic, cheerful, curious and generous. Featherpaw is a happy cat, and always seems to be. Even when sad, her posture portrays happiness, even if this is a mask.

Featherpaw was named for her grey fur, which is fluffy and soft. In the light, some of her fur may seem to be a light dusky brown, but this is not true; Featherpaw is a medium shade of grey not unlike that of a small storm cloud.

Shadow wants to be bloodthirsty and kill the Clan cats that always seem to have food while he and his "Clan" starve. Because of this, he is morbid and a pessimist, his dark persona matching his dark fur. However, like the white that marks some of his fur, he can be kind and is a loyal friend once you get past his dark, harsh exterior.

Shadow has short black fur that covers the majority of his body, apart from the patch of white on his chest and the blaze going up past his eyes starting from his lips. His lower jaw is black.
