Alexa turned towards Amy-Mae, "About what?" she asked, hooking her arms through the metal handles of the feed buckets. Silver nickered, wanting to be exercised. "Shush you! I'll ride you when we come back!" She said towards her horse, the grey mare shaking her head. James watched Bolt quietly; the big chestnut gelding was snoozing after the tiring journey. "Your not obliged to, you know. We can find our own way around. You didn't answer my question before - do they have a piano here?" James said, turning away from Amy-Mae. Alexa frowned at him, wishing she was closer so she kick him. "Well who said you had to come!? Do whatever you want and don't be so rude." Flicking her long blonde plait over her shoulder she walked towards Amy-Mae, "Don't mind him he is a grouch! Thank you for helping by the way, it's just that this stables is so big!" She dropped the feed buckets next to Bolt's stable, sticking her tongue out at James. He raised an eyebrow, what a cool kid she is.
"I don't mind, and I meant sorry about having to take my inhaler. "Amy-Mae said. She looked at them. She felt a little embrassed, because of having to take the inhaler. She didn't let it show though, as she hated to show this type of emotion.
She moved a bit of her blonde hair out of her face.
((Got writers block. Sorry!))
Come back and tell me why
I'm feeling like I've missed you all this time, oh, oh, oh
And meet me there tonight
And let me know that it's not all in my mind
I just wanna know you better know you better know you better now
I just wanna know you know you know you
'Cause all I know is we said "Hello"
And your eyes look like coming home
All I know is a simple name
Everything has changed
All I know is you held the door
You'll be mine and I'll be yours
All I know since yesterday is everything has changed
All I know is we said "Hello"
So dust off your highest hopes
All I know is pouring rain and everything has changed
All I know is the new found grace
All my days I know your face
All I know since yesterday is everything has changed

// It's okay :3 My post is a tad boring btw you don't have to read the second part if you don't want to xD //Alexandra Jane Bennett &
James Edward Rotherington. There’s something about the outside of a horse that’s good for the inside of a man.
"You don't need to say sorry, it will save your life one day!" Alexa said, walking towards Amy-Mae. "Shall we start? I think the owner wanted to do something later..?" She had already forgotten what James had said earlier, but she didn't really care anyway. James rolled his eyes and walked away, I guess I'm going on a adventure, he thought sarcastically to himself. He walked in the direction of the dorms, to unpack his things and to get everything sorted.
James unlocked his cabin, walking into a spotlessly clean living room-type area. He was quite shocked, taking off his long leather riding boots. "Better than I expected," he mumbled to himself, slowing ascending the stairs. He found his luggage and bag on the bed in his room. Unclipping the leather straps that bound his suitcase, he unpacked some old keepsakes onto the small wooden table. There was an old photo of him and his mother, both smiling in the sun. Holding the frame, a small smile crept onto his face as he recalled the happy memory; they were both at the racetrack and his mother snapped it just before the race started. James unpacked the rest of his things, putting a collection of his books onto a shelf.

"I know, I know... I just hate taking it." Amy-mae said, rolling her blue eyes. It was true, she did hate taking it. She always felt bad when she had to take it. That was not just because of the fact she couldn't breathe, it was also because of the bulling she had gone though at her normal schools. She had been called names just because she had asthma. Which wasn't a good thing. They had stoped doing it though, which was a good thing. She had come to Rosewood to start over, and the fact it was a stables was perfect. As she loved riding.
"Yeah let's start." She said, after hearing Alexa'a suggestion to start. She put the inhaler back in her bag, after realising she still had it in her hands.

Name:
Kale
Nickname?:
/
Age:
18
Gender:
Male
Discipline:
English - Cross Country
Personality:
A cunning, brave, daring, and strong warrior. He can be aggressive and/or defensive when not stubborn. He is often found alone with his animals and only trusts few people, however many are able to have trust in him due to his confidence and skills. He is physically very strong and is not afraid to pick a fight, which can cause him much trouble since he doesn't always know what he is getting himself into to. However, he is never afraid to back down from a threat or challenge and prides himself in his strength.
Kale is tough down to the core and he can be a bit of show off but would risk his life for someone he really cares about. He distances himself from the others, sometimes uses training or trips as excuse to get away from the daily bustle of normal life. He gives a lot of people the image that he is a bad boy, but deep down he is just trying to find his place in the world. After losing his father, he has only opened his heart to his animals, whom seem to understand his situation and loss. They now provide the support and love that his father once did.
However, Kale is trying to get better, even after another accident at school shortly after losing his father. He only now just returning to his normal state, thanks to his new companions. Still, he does have a knack for breaking rules and getting people annoyed with him. Other than that, he can be a flirt with girls (like any other normal teenage boy). At the moment is in a state where he is battling himself. He is trying to break out of his grieving self and get back to his normal bad boy self.
Despite all the challenges of trying to find himself, he is one who carves adventure and does not like people who stand in his way. He is very competitive and can sometime take things too far if people challenge him. Overall, Kale has the image of a dark and mysterious young man who has great strength but does not always look to the brightest path. He is the one who takes the less travelled road and seeks danger because he thinks that hoping for the best is just a waste of time.
History:
Kale and his father were returning from a guys weekend when they got in a car accident and his father was killed. Kale had been driving and even though it was not his fault, he blamed himself, and still does. He returned to school and was never himself. He didn't give a care for any of the teachers and only focused in his sports during high school. His grades flunked while he busied himself with working out to build some muscle. Soon one of the teachers commented about Kale not having any respect for any of the teachers and the way they tried to help Kale get through high school. That teacher made a mistakenly made a comment about his father, unknowingly of Kale's situation, and Kale lost it. He punched his teacher and ended up going to court where he was put under community service arrest. He was sent a barn out in the country where he worked and came into contact with animals for the first time which made Kale turn himself around a bit.
He ended up coming in contact with a young stallion and somehow, the two befriended each other. Everyone was rather surprised and shocked that the expelled kid and the most aggressive stallion on farm got along. From the moment they met, the two seemed to understand each other and Kale began training the horse. The owner of the barn was rather surprised but didn't hesitate in giving Kale lessons on riding, while still making he did his community hours.
Storm helped Kale through some rough steps in his life, mostly getting over his father's death since it hadn't happened long ago. It sadden Kale even more when his community service ended and he was forced to go back to school where he could not see Storm. He began breaking as many rules as possible, hoping to get back to the barn so he could be with his only friend. This only got him detentions and even more mad since all he wanted to do was go riding and spend time with Storm. Likewise, the stallion never even let any human get close to him as he waited everyday for Kale to come and visit and ride him.
Kale's opportunity came around when he spotted some other high school kids harassing some dogs. He ended up beating up the kids and rescuing the dogs that had, thankfully been saved from too much harm. He was able to return them to a shelter, but was sadden to find out that the pups would be put down because they were tested and had a wolf bloodline which were not allowed in the city. Before they taken away, Kale took one of the puppies he had saved, remembering it was the one that had tried to protect its other siblings when the high school teenagers loomed over them.
So Kale ended up at the barn again, but this time with the puppy. However Storm only enjoyed being with Kale that much more as the three became a close knit family. Kale named the puppy Sora, and did in fact, prove to have wolf in her. Kale soon got into competing cross country with his stallion after the barn needed more money to keep itself running. He became one of the cross country riders in the area and was soon bringing both money and attention to the barn where Storm was. This did not last long after bills for the owner increased more and she was forced to give up and the barn and all the horses. Knowing Kale's connection with Storm, she was able to help him find another temporary property to keep the stallion.
Kale was able to finish school and came out on weekends to see Storm. Sora was able to stay with him at his house in the city which helped him a lot through school. As a gift for his birthday, his mother decided to send him to Rosewood Stables where he could keep Storm and Sora and continue with his dream of riding. However, his mother made sure to let the school know that he would still be doing his community service hours at the new barn even though he would also be doing everything else he wanted. His mother is hoping this will give him many more opportunities since he will not be under the watchful eye of a cop at this barn. She knows he will have much more freedom with his animals, will still be able to work, and hopefully meet some people he can connect with since they will share his compassion for horses and riding.

Personality:
Storm is a competitive yet stubborn stallion who would do anything for Kale. He has only ever been ridden by Kale and will only ever let Kale be his rider. He dislikes other humans and sometimes their horses, which can cause problems for Kale, especially since they are just barely able to get by without getting kicked out of a place. However, Storm is always a hardworking and completely loyal horse who would never let his rider down, no matter what. Storm is always there for Kale and the two seem to always understand each other.
History:
Storm was raised at a tough barn where he was separated from his mother as soon as he was old enough to. The humans always handled him roughly and therefore for many years after, he always gave humans the same treatment back. He never let anyone on his back and was transported to many farms where they train him on lounge line, but never get too close to handle him personally. Storm became to hate humans but knew he didn't have much choice when it came to training and such.
Then came the day when Kale to the barn Storm was living at, at that time. He often watched the boy from afar, wondering why he did not come to stare at him like all the other humans. Storm became rather curious in the boy, getting closer to him every time Kale came to hay him or fix a fence. Soon he began warming up to the boy and a bond was created between the two of them. Storm one day allowed the boy atop his back and was surprised by his soft hands despite the way they looked and the way he worked with them. Kale was also surprised, not only in himself for jumping on the great stallion's back, but also for the way the stallion stood carefully and walked around the paddock ever so carefully as not to let Kale lose his balance. From there the two realized that they had much in common and worked together from there to forget about their past and work for a future together.

Dog
Breed:
Husky x Wolf
Personality:
Sora is a young dog who definitely has more wolf blood than husky. She is highly aggressive who is very protective of Kale and is one hundred percent loyal to him. She does not follow ever command Kale has but never disappoints him. Sora is a dog who turn tail and fight no matter who the opposition was, as long as it meant keeping Kale and Storm safe.
History:
Sora's mother dumped her pups in an alley where some teenage kids began looming over them. Sora, being the oldest, strongest, and the dog with the most wolf running through her veins, instantly began defending her litter mates. Her instincts of protecting her pack seemed to spring to her mind and she bit any of the humans that came close to her family. The humans then began collecting weapons, ready to torture Sora and her litter mates for fun.
Thankfully Kale arrived just in time to safe the young puppies and teach the boys a lesson. Their hero gathered them all up carefully and took them to an animal sheltered where they were cared for and treated. However, once the nurse found out that wolf blood ran through them, she told Kale they would be put down. Kale could not believe what would happen and was able to steal one of the pups, the one he remembered as the one protecting the other puppies.
He named the creme-reddish husky Sora and raised her even though her mother was against it. However, his mother soon gave in and Sora soon became the protector of the family and a close friend to Kale. Since both Kale and Sora were so alike, as both were fighters, they began close right away and were always there for each other.

Emily wander about the barn. She whistled for Dixie to followed her to the ranch house. Once they got to the ranch house Emily tied Dixie out on her tie out, to make sure she wouldn't get in anymore trouble. She went inside to get the Rottweiler some water and a treat and to make sure she could get to the porch from her tie out. Emily set the water out and made Dixie sit before giving her the treat. She giggled when Dixie ate it guckly. Emily turned and made her way back to the barn, humming quietly as she did so.
Emily pulled her curly blonde hair into a bun and began her chores, her beloved aunt put Lon her before she left to go to the feed store in town to get a few more haters and some saddle cleaning supplies. She stopped to let a horse whose head was over the stall door, smiling slightly as it lipped her hand, probably looking for a treat. Unfortunately the girl had none. She rubbed the horse's nose and walked to the feed room to get Hessie's feed and to feed the goats as well. She scooped the goat and the cow's feed, and turned heading out to give them their food and make sure they both had water.

Emily put down the buckets in the feed room. She sighed, pulling her sweatshirt off over her head, exposing a a nicely fitted plaid shirt, with a white laced bottom Cali underneath. She adjusted her shirt and walked into her Aunt office to grab a few things, unaware the Kale was in there as well. She hummed quietly, still not noticing Kale until she looked into the little mirror that her aunt had on the wall. It startled her abut, causing her to drop the book she had. She quickly shuffled to pick it up and sat it back on the shelf.
Emily felt completely stupid for not noticing him sooner "I'm so sorry. I didn't notice you had arrived." she said, walkin towards the boy. Her cowgirl boots making soft thuds as she walked. She brushed a piece of curly blonde hair out of her eyes and extended her hand for him to shake "I'm Emily. My aunt went to town to pick up a few things from the Tack and Feed store." she explained.

Dixie snorted, seeing a new truck pull up. The protective dog she was kicked in, making the hair along her back. She began to bark, trying to get off her tie out, but had no luck. Emily had fixed it well the last time she did. The Rottweiler continued to bark, watching the. Recommends intently. Her barking came down from a intimidatting bark to a friendly bark as she saw another dog. The rottie wagged her tail and began to jump, still barking excitedly.

Kale turned from a picture on the wall. The place was even bigger than he had thought and was rather impressed after inspecting a bird's eye view of Rosewood Stables. However, as he spun on his heels, he kept his face neutral as he looked to the source of the voice.
His eyes travelled the length of the young woman's body before meeting her eyes. Then he glanced at her hand and after a few moments pulled his hand from his pocket to shake her hand. "Kale." He replied curtly, only wanting to get Storm settled into the new place as soon as possible rather than listening to her blabber on.
However, he wondered if this aunt of hers was the one who ran the stable. If so, then he could get this meeting over with Emily faster and talk with the aunt later about his position here. Kale wasn't just here to ride like every other rich teen here who owned a horse.
He would be working most the time and in return he'd be able to stay here as if he did pay. His mother had been able to set something up with the owner and so all he had to do was work and help which would pay for both for his rooming and Storm's boarding.
The other reason he was working here was to work on filling his mandatory community hours after being kicked out from school for a few months. He hoped his mother had warned the lady about that, perhaps not exactly what he had done to be suspended, but enough to know that he was pretty much a bad boy and acted like a jerk have the time.
However his jerk attitude was only part of his image. Kale was hard worker, was always up for a challenge, and was perfectly at home and comfortable working at a stable. This was the reason why his mother had been so happy when Emily's aunt had been willing to do the exchange.
They had called several other stables but all had the excuse of having no room for another horse and rider. Kale knew this was just their excuse for not wanting some gang member type male hanging around the barn doing nothing. Kale didn't blame them either for not wanting him there. Kale was not going to make this placement thing easy, even though his mother had warned him since it would be a pain to try and find another place that would do the same for him.
