Dewdrop padded into camp with a mouthful of dock leaves. She was running low and wanted to keep everything stocked in case there was another battle. She'd had just enough herbs for the most recent border fight, but she had been close to running out. Too close for her liking.
She followed the scent of herbs to her den and dropped the leaves in their place. She padded out of her den, planning on going back out to get some more herbs that she'd scented. She had a feeling that someone would notice what she was doing eventually and start fussing over her going out alone.
I'm blind, not a kit, she thought irritably.

Flametail was finishing off a vole from the freshkill pile. He licked his lips and looked around the camp at the others as they went about their business.

Personality:
Many would say that Russetpaw is very eccentric, perhaps almost charismatic because of it. Eccentric he may be, but Russetpaw is far from charismatic. At times the tom can seem playful, but in reality, Russetpaw is in no mindset to engage in "frivolous activities". In fact, the brown cat is more prone to acting upon stories of heroes and leaders and tales of warriors. Much of Russetpaw's actions, thoughts, and beliefs are based off what he perceives as a hero. It's no hidden fact that this is his dream, not necessarily to be a leader, but to be well-known and looked up to.

However, although he may not be as alluring to others, Russetpaw is not ignorant. He knows his show of heroic tendencies fail to really impose an impression, and because of this he can come off as very arrogant and cocky, yet Russetpaw's efforts to change himself are fruitless. Nonetheless, he inwardly craves that one day someone will notice that his "mask" is simply not an act. Perhaps he may act like a dunce at times, or present himself as a fearless, battle-heartened warrior, but Russetpaw still clings onto his hopes that he will be noticed.

The results of this dream has pushed him to be the cat he is growing into. Although young, Russetpaw is a fighter and does not mind getting his paws a bit dirty, particularly when it comes to other clan cats. Sharp with his words and quick with his claws, he was born ready to battle. At times, the tom can seem to put on a facade of a great warrior, seeming to fear nothing. Although young, Russetpaw is certainly a force to be reckoned with. Quite well known to most cats, the battle of the mouth is just as important as a battle of claws to Russetpaw, sometimes even to his own clan mates. Of course, even out of this, one cannot deny his loyalty. There is not a single cat that can say “Russetpaw isn't loyal”; in fact, quite the opposite, Russetpaw is loyal to the bone and no one could say otherwise.

Out of all his dreams of heroes and battles of tooth and claw, Russetpaw is still an apprentice. He makes many mistakes, perhaps more than others. In fact, the tabby tom does have quite a tendency to not listen to orders. He follows his heart more than his head, and tends to act before he thinks. Thus, Russetpaw is very prone to trouble, and from this, he is also a very adventurous cat with an endless streak of curiosity. He may not be very strategic, nor may he be the fastest, smartest, or most empathetic. However, Russetpaw has a large thirst for knowledge; he craves knowledge and yearns to explore new creatures and places. At the same time, the tom honestly does try to stay out of trouble. He sticks fast to his personal morals, but at times, his impulsive tendencies can lead him to the unknown.

Appearance: (based off this cat)
At a quick a dark orange color. However, on a more perceptive glance, one can see that his fur isn't actually much of a russet color. For the most part, Russetpaw has a nice brown coat, layered with several shades and tones. In general, the tabby's belly is a more of a russet color with splashes of a white-cream color, while his back is more of a slate brown to black. Of course, like any tabby, Russetpaw's fur is mingled with the trademark tabby stripes across his forehead, back, legs, and tails. The length ranges from quite short to a medium length, but overall, it's thick and does its job. Russetpaw's eyes are a nice pale yellow-green color, and they can seem a bit ominous at times.

At a far glance, his face may seem lighter, but his body tends to give off a darker shade than the rest of his body. His fur ripples with vivid brown tones with dashes of a rich russet color. His body is a tad on the smaller side, and he's quiet lean and skinny, though he hopes to gain a bit of muscle as he grows. Russetpaw's proportions are just right, perhaps with a bit of a long body and a long tail, but maybe this just helps with his “charismatic” aspects. Certainly Russetpaw is a handsome cat, but he always tends to blow this image away with his words.

Of course, if it wasn't his words that hinted his attitude, it was certainly his fur. Vivid, yet messy. Due to his headlong personality for adventure and battles, Russetpaw rarely takes the time to clean his fur. Occasionally he may rid his fur of ticks and fleas, but rarely will he ever take the time to actually groom himself. As a result, other cats may pick on him for it, Russetpaw simply brushes it off. Warriors don't have time to preen after all.

History:
Perhaps it's more of an opinion on whether Russetpaw has a short history, whether it's fortunate or unfortunate. However, one can confidently say that he sure has a life ahead of him. The tabby tom was born within the nursery of Swampclan, the warmth of his family caressing him with the utmost care, just as most of his clan mates were. He grew up with one sibling, a twin brother by the name of Redkit. The two brothers were quite close, and were generally found by the clan tumbling around outside the nursery. the yowls of stories and remakes of historic battles and tragic heroes were mostly assumed to come from the two trouble makers.

As a kit, the two were quite mischievous and there were many attempts to sneak out of the nursery to adventure around the camp, or even out side it. Never once were they successful, but alas, the adventures to come were much more creative and significant.

After the vital apprenticeship of the young felines, the two began to separate. Redpaw began to concentrate on his skills to get stronger, rather than exercising his imagination and whimsical thoughts. On the other hand, Russetpaw simply became more detached with reality, thinking less and less about his own experiences and more on his fantasies. Amidst the brothers' journey in searching for their own ideals, the two eventually began ignoring one another until one day, Redpaw simply disappeared and never came back. Inwardly, while the action gave Russetpaw a period of sorrow and shame, the tabby quickly overcame the event and moved on. Thus so far, Ruessetpaw is the cat he is today. Perhaps he may change, perhaps not. Alas, Russetpaw is young and still has his own story to finish.

Other: Redpaw's story will be posted later at an undetermined date. However, he is no longer a part of Swampclan, nor does Russetpaw have a crush by the way. I also hope you, Peeta♥LoverBoy, don't mind that I changed the form a bit. All the information you need is there though.
