New Mentor Ceremony

Rayclan's moors are now full of rabbits and mice, resulting in the frsh-kill pile to grow larger by the day. Six moons have passed since Moorstar has passed and Harestar has taken his place.

Harestar clambered up onto the hollowed log that layed as her place to shelter and announce important occurances. Her gaze sweeped the clearing, watching her clanmates closely.

Chasepaw watched his mentor scan the camp, and watched her curiously. His belly growleda, and Harestar seemed to notice. She nodded, giving him premission to eat. The apprentice bounded over to the fresh-kill pile, picking out a plump rabbit. The moor was filling up with more rabbits each day, and the pile grew steadily.

I sigh softly. I look around as my tail flickers slightly. Then I look around again, my eye catching a oak tree. I nod slightly to myself and pad over to it. I lay down and breath in deeply, then breathing out. I look at the smooth ground, wit the slight sunlight patten from the leaves. I watch how it sways and moves
