[Elvish]

Korin grinned slightly. "Your welcome." He was quiet for a little while, then said cautiously, "You know, this is only the 2nd deer we've killed since...that day." He took another bite and shifted his paws around. He hated talking about that day, the day his parents died.

[.Night::Echo.]

Nala was silent for a moment as she looked to her brother. "I know..." She finally murmured quietly. Her eyes cast down as she attempted to swallow the emotions that seemed to be forming a suffocating lump in her throat. "I..." She opened her mouth to say something, but no audible words came out. She didn't know what to say.

[Elvish]

Korin licked her paw and murmured softly, "I know how you feel. it kills me, every single time I go to sleep." He dug out another bite. "But, I have you." He smiled weakly.

[.Night::Echo.]

Nala sighed softly. "Thank you." She murmured shyly. "I don't know what I'd do without you..." She continued, smiling softly at her brother. "We'll be alright." She said comfortingly, although it was hard to tell whether the comment was meant to reassure Korin, or herself.

[Elvish]

Korin nodded. "Yes." He saw a clump of moss near them. Getting an idea, he stood up and walked over to it. He pawed it together into a kind of ball, and using his mouth, threw it at Nala. "Heads!" He called, watching it fly into the air above her head.

Nala gasped as the ball of moss whizzed past her head. She immediatley pushed all her sorrows to the back of her mind as she dashed for the clump of moss, catching it in her mouth. He loosely clutched it between her teeth, jerking her head to playfully toss it back to Korin.

[Elvish]

Korin leaped up to catch the moss ball, flinging it back at her with a delicate toss. They might be too old to play like that, but they were still young enough to have fun.

Nala lunged for the ball of moss once, stumbling as she fell forward to catch the ball between her teeth, causing her to silde across the ground, landing on her face. She sneezed softly as she skidded to a halt, rolling over onto her back and spitting out the moss, giggling contently all the while.

[Elvish]

Korin laughed his head off, playfully poncing on her and nipping her flank. He then sprang away, inviting her for a run.

Nala laughed as she rolled onto her feet, grinning widely. She dashed after her brother as she saw him dart away, running as fast as she could in order to catch up with him.
