• Alright, I wish this wasn't true, but it's a rule on CS that no pictures are allowed in your RP posts. You're allowed to use them in your form and such, but not in a regular form. So, don't put pictures in your posts, besides your forms.
• Don't ask to be a mod. If I feel I need one, I will appoint one.
• No first person role playing.
• Always use correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.
• If you read these, please mention in the "other" section in your form if you prefer the Oxford comma or not. If you do not know what the Oxford comma is, you probably should not join this role play.
• If you are going to be gone for a long period of time, that's fine, just tell me.
• Be realistic. No apprentices killing badgers all by themselves and what not.
• I myself am really into plot twists and such. If you have an idea for something, please, discuss it with the role player it involves, or if it's a group event discuss it with me. It's no fun if your cat suddenly turns against everyone and nobody knew about it.
• In a kitting, you may describe it, just no icky details. "Silverwind moaned as she bit into the stick some cat had given her, and it snapped at the kit was born. Her fur rippled as another one started to come." That's fine, but nothing gross, kay?
• In a mating, just skip over it or something. Heck, even make it a surprise. Don't have them do anything at all, and then announce one day that she's expecting kits! Really anything goes, but if you knew anything about cats and how they mate, I doubt you would want to describe the experience anyways.
• Luvdogz8 is not allowed to use the word "blossom" in any cat names. If she tries to, she loses ten awesome points. Same if she uses a picture of her own cat, because that's lame. For her.

[Nimble Awesomeness]

The Camp can be found within the forest. It's not very well hidden, but the forest is so large and open that really nothing is. Many different animals roam around the trees in which BladeClan resides, including red squirrels, wild goat, adders, deer and badgers. In the camp there's a leaders den, an elders den, an apprentice's den, a warriors den, medicine cat den and a nursery. They are all located within a large semi-circle, with the leaders den and the warriors den at the ends, and the medicine cat den in the very middle. The elders den and nursery between the warriors and the medicine cat, the nursery closer to the warriors den, and the apprentices den is next to the leaders den. There is no clearing in between all of them, only more trees. Next to a particular tree is a hole, in which they keep there fresh kill hidden from roaming badgers and Pine martens.



Harold padded down the main road leading out of town, scaring away the occasional bird. He tried not to though, as he rather liked watching the birds. The way they fluttered as they hopped around; the way their wings quickly flapped themselves into a blur of color. Something about it was just...mesmerizing. He passed the fork in the lane and veered off the path, leading into the field.



The wind thrust the tall grass up against his side. Luckily, Harold had been doing this since he was a kitten, so his legs were strong and could withstand the sheer force that the gale presented. Keeping low to the ground, Harold ran down the rest of the valley. The wind wasn't as strong here, which was lucky for him and another animal that remained in the gorge. He was in the cow field.



The occasional moo sounded out from the large, black and white creatures, but other than that they were mostly silent. Harold sat in the middle, on the side opposite from the Heather hill; a hill where there was a field of heather growing. A smallish stream separated the two slopes, and the cows resided in the flat spot next to the stream. Harold liked to entertain himself by watching the cows attempt to lumber across the stream, but they often failed and their Shepard would have to run over and shove them across, pushing from the cows rear. Harold often wondered why they didn't just keep the cows in another field.

He looked over the cows and over the Heather Hill. Harold squinted. The Forest.



It was large, dim and frightening. Harold had once thought about venturing in, but decided against it. He had heard things. He had heard about things that lurked. It was bad enough that Scotland had the Loch Ness Monster, Nessie, but now they had to have lurking things as well? No no, Harold was fine and dandy where he was. Then again, there was that one time when he went out onto the twoleg path...



He had gone out on it once, and met someone. A cat. A... patrol of cats. That was it, a patrol. They had looked rather fierce. Who did they say they were? ShadeClan? GladeClan? BladeClan! That was it. BladeClan... Perhaps he would meet them again sometime. Hopefully not any time soon, Harold thought. A few of them looked like they were going to rip his head off, but there had been one who looked gentle enough. A She-cat. A gray, slender she-cat, with blue eyes. Yes, she was rather pretty... Maybe Harold wouldn't mind meeting the BladeClan cats again.

.:The Warrior Code:.

1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.

2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.

3. Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.

4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.

5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.

6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.

7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.

8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled.

9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.

10. A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.

11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.

12. No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.

13. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.

14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his/her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.

15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.

.:Additional Rules:.

• Medicine cats may not have a mate or kits.
• Kits must stay in camp until they are apprenticed, and are not allowed to hunt.
• The safety of the Clan is more important than the safety of one cat.
• Clans must not unite together to drive out another Clan.
• Clans must not force another Clan to share territory.
• Enemy patrols must not attack cats if they are returning from a mission all four Clans agree on.

.:Herbs and Their Uses:.

Alder: The leaves on this tree reduce swelling and prevents infection from setting in. To apply this herb, chew and then apply to the wound. Another use is for a cat that has a toothache to chew, resulting in a reduction to pain, swelling, and aid in preventing any complications.

Alfalfa: Chewed. Used to prevent tooth decay

Aloe Vera: Cut open plant and retrieve gel from inside the leaves. This gel is used to cure skin problems (flaky, drying skin, ect.) or burns. A hard plant to find, not usually used.

Basil: Apply to the paw to treat any paw problems.

Borage: Consume the leaves and roots to make fevers go away. Nursing Queens should eat the seeds (or leaves) to increase the amount of milk for the kits.

Broom: Not commonly used. Used in poultices from broken legs.

Burdock: Leaves are chewed and then applied to the wounded area. This helps clear infection and to speed healing. The roots are used as well. Works great on rat bites.

Catchweed: Apply its green fluffy seeds on any freshly applied poultices to help protect it.

Catmint: Chew and consume the leaves by any cat affected by white/ greencough. Only found in some Twoleg gardens.

Celandine: Used to treat the aliments of the eye.

Chamomile: When a cat feels stressed or is in a state of shock, use this to help calm the nerves.

Chervil: This plant is sweet-smelling. Its juices can be used for infected wounds. Chewing the roots helps with bellyaches.

Chickweed: Eaten to cure bellyaches, bloatedness and constipation as well as coughs.

Cobwebs: Gathered and pressed on wound to stop bleeding. This is changed often depending on the amount of blood.

Coltsfoot: Used to treat shortness of breath.

Comfrey: Roots are chewed into a poultice used to help mend broken bones or soothe wounds.

Deathberries: These berries are poisonous and if eaten, the consumer will die. Warriors and the older cats of the clan may live, but the kits, apprentices, and elders will not unless treated with yarrow fairly quickly. Also known as yew.

Dock: Chewed and applied to soothe scratches.

Dried Oakleaf: Used to stop infection. Found during leaf-fall and can be stored in a dry place.

Feverfew: Brings down a fever.

Goldenrod: Used for healing wounds. A poultice.

Hollyberries: Same effect as the Deathberries.

Honey: Used to soothe the throat.

Juniper: The berries helps bellyaches while the leaves ease coughs as well as other respiratory problems.

Lamb’s Ear: Used with Ragwort to help a exhausted or weakened cat. No, not an actual lamb ear.

Lavender: Eat the leaves and flowers to cure fever and sore throat. Inhaling the scent can calm the nerves.

Marigold: Consume leaves and flower to relieve chills. Leaves and petals can be chewed and placed on wounds to prevent infection.

Mousebile: Used to kill ticks by dripping some on a moss ball and patting tick until the nasty thing goes away.

Mud: Soothes hornet/ bee stings. Apply and let it dry and fall off on its own, taking the stinger with it.

Nightshade: Same effect as Hollyberry and Deathberry.

Poppyseeds: Allows cats to sleep peacefully, should not be used on nursing queens.

Ragwort: Used with juniper berries to treat aching joints or other muscle soreness.

Snakeroot: Counters poison.

Stinging Nettle: Apply leaves to reduce swelling. Its seeds can be used for a cat who has swallowed poison.

Tansy: Leaves consumed to relieve aching joints, flowers consumed to treat cough. Do NOT give to pregnant she-cat, cause stillborn kits.

Thyme: Used to treat shock, antsy nerves, and to calm the anxiety. Also bring restful sleep.

Watermint: Chew to the pulp and fed to a cat with bellyaches.

Wild Garlic: Roll in this patch to prevent infection, especially for rat bites.

Willow: The water on its bark should be allowed to drip into a cat’s eyes to help blurriness. Also applied to dry skin patched to soothe. Small amount of bark should be eaten to ease pain, act against inflamed areas, and to ease fevers and diarrhea.

Yarrow: Extracts vomit by forcing cat to throw up. Made into poultice to expel poison from wounds.

Yew: Another name for Deathberry.

• Sunfur, role-played by PinkieDash, is the new deputy.
• Ottersplash, Hawksight and Kindlepaw went out to collect honeycomb. They got the honeycomb, but Kindlepaw got stings all over his and is now covered in mud.
• Ghost was found in the forest by Shadowstar, Sunfur and Skyburst and was brought back to camp.
• Sunfur accidentally told Shadowstar that she likes him, and Shadowstar ignored her and ran off because he didn't know what to say. He's still trying to figure out what to do.
• The new mentor pairings are;
  
  Sunfur now mentors Lilypaw.
  Dawnbreeze now mentors Nightpaw.
• Iristail, Dawnbreeze's sister, is jealous of Dawnbreeze and really wants to get out of the camp.
• Lilypaw and Rainpaw admitted their love for each other and promised to be mates as soon as they both became warriors.
• Shadowstar and Iristail are eating together, Shadowstar is asking her if she's happy for her sister. He knows she's not.
• Ottersplash is grooming Ghost and trying to figure out how he got there and who he is.
• The dawn patrols never happened, so we're moving the same cats that were on the dawn patrols to the Sun-high patrols. They'll set out as soon as everyone is eating.
• Lilypaw and Rainpaw decide they're going to tell their mentors about their promise.
• Lilypaw is now 9 moons instead of 6.
• Kindlepaw is trying to find the river so he asked Skyburst where it was.
• Ottersplash brought Ghost to the nursery.
• Quailheart, Mistfall and Eagletalon are getting ready to go on Sun-high patrol.

June 4th

Appearance:
Shadowstar is a black and gray tabby, but mostly black. He's a large cat, very large, and he can overtake cats by practically just sitting on them. He often towers over cats without realizing it, and it can be rather frightening to enemy cats.

Skyburst. He's a fan-tom, not going to lie. Well, if you ask HIM he'll lie for sure.

Mate:

Kin:
His mother was a hamster and his father smelt of Elder berries. gave birth to him and died at the kitting. His father had already died in battle by that point, so she was left to birth him on her own. He was raised by another cat, Duskfur. Now an elder, he dreads the day that StarClan decides to claim her as their own; she was the only family he ever had.

Personality:
He seems hard edged if you don't know him, but when he wants to be or if he knows you really well he can be as smooth as grass. All he wants to do is keep his clan safe and serve them, and it's this drive that got him leader in the first place. He loves kits, and would very much like some of his own.

History:
His father and his mother had a close relationship. Fernfrost, his mother, was so excited to have kits. Once she found out, her mate and her celebrated with the whole clan; everyone knew how much they wanted kits. A moon later, disaster broke out. The clan went into war with a band of loners that had turned bad. Shadowtwist's father went out to battle, and died nobly. Much to Fernfrost's dismay, as you can imagine. She was crestfallen. The only thing that really got her through was her best friend, Duskfur. They had been friends since kithood, and had stayed close every since. As soon as the kits were to come, it was only set up for more heartbreak.

Fernfrost gave birth to two kits. One named Shadowkit, the other Poppykit. Fernfrost lived long enough only to name them. Luckily, she didn't live long enough to find out that Poppykit didn't even make it through the night. Duskfur, an emotional wreck from her best friend being lost to StarClan, took refuge from the pain and suffering by confronting her mate. Always wanting kits but never getting their wish, they decided to adopt Shadowkit as their own; just as Fernfrost would have wanted.

So, Shadowkit was raised by Fernfrost until he became Shadowpaw, and even then she still looked after him. He always went to her to talk to. It was also nice to have a father looking out for him as well. Duskfur's mate was always there for Shadowtwist, but moons ago he died of green cough. Duskfur then moved to the elders den, and Shadowstar lives in fear of her death.

I prefer not to use the Oxford comma. I dunno, I just think it makes the sentence too choppy. Just doesn't flow right.
