Skye smiled wide, feeling a blush come to her cheeks. She kissed him gently and sighed. "Calcifer..." she started, but then stopped herself. "... Never mind..." She said then. She had been about to tell him how she felt...
But she was horrible at that. Speaking wasn't what she was best at, especially not about her feelings and what she felt... Especially when she knew that everyone was watching her... It only made her more nervous... She sighed and leaned into him.
She was going to make sure he won... She would help him in any way, and was going to even make sure she wasn't able to live on at the end... She wanted nothing more than for him to win... That was her new goal... Until Aaron came into her mind...
She loved him... and just the thought of him made her far more determined to win... So she decided that she would come up with a plan, come up with what she was going to do when she had to... Like always, she never really worried about things unless she had no choice.
The storm soon died down, greatly... She sent out into the show after Calcifer had fallen asleep and filled their canteens with the snow, she closed them, so the snow would melt by the fire, she went back to Calcifer and stayed by his side again until the night was over...
As the sun rose, she realized it had become significantly colder... But there was no more snow falling from the sky. So she went out while Calcifer was asleep and swung the axe at a tree, chopping at it and hacking until it fell down... It took a significantly long amount of time but that didn't matter to her.
They needed more wood, so she hacked at the tree until it was into smaller parts, she dragged it back inside their cave and set it there. She sighed, exhausted already, and left Calcifer, covering him with the blanket and taking his axe with her.
Next, they needed food. She prayed Calcifer wouldn't wake while she was gone... He would have a panic attack... She sighed as she kept walking, she heard someone, it was a girl, not one of the career tributes, but she did seem dangerous, she came running at them, and ran straight past her, she frowned when a few rabbits and many birds did too, she walked over that way, curiosity getting the better of her.
She felt much warmer as she did so, but then she realized something was very wrong when she saw smoke in the sky and felt it get harder and harder to breathe.
She ran back to Calcifer, who luckily wasn't that far away, and called his name. "Calcifer! Calcifer! get Up! Now! Come on! We Need to go!" She yelled as she got closer and closer, hoping and praying he was awake and they had everything together.
They didn't have time to mess around... Or they would be fired... She wondered why there was fire... Was it not interesting enough? No... Maybe they had all just got too far apart...
Most likely....
She ran into the cave and grabbed the blanket, the book bag and the canteens, she took her knife and his axe, ready to run. She helped him get his stuff and grabbed his arm when they had everything. For a girl her size, she was fast... And that was saying a lot. She practically dragged Calcifer along behind her...
