It's the same routine every year; your parents go on vacation to Europe, leaving you with your crazy vegan godparents and their kids. They live in North-Western Washington, deep in the Olympic mountains. The closest town is nothing but a ghost anymore, and you can only dream of escaping. But what if there is an escape, closer than you could ever imagine? There have been rumors about the woods for years, mythical creatures that have been brawling, good against bad, for years, but you haven't been foolish enough to believe them. It's only when you go into the woods, that you learn it's deepest, darkest secrets.

Rules.

1. Firstly, I need you to actually read and understand the rules. They are important, and you need to read them before you start roleplaying.
2. Unless I give you permission, you cannot in any case have more than one human character, but you can as many mythical creatures as you please.
3. I expect well-written posts, three sentences at the least. You must use correct grammar, spelling, and puncuation. {typos are fine, they happen...}
4. No gary or mary-sues. People have flaws, characters should too.
5. No god/power moding. This means no killing/injuring/reviving characters without their owner's permission.
6. I have ultamite power; I can kick you out with the flick of a wrist, so please, be kind to me.
7. Please do not use any mythical creatures for your characters other then the ones specified on the list.

List of Mythical Creatures.
Abada
Similar to Unicorns, Abadas have two hooked horns as opposed to one straight horn, and they have the tail of a boar. They lack any talent in magic, whereas Unicorns are the most powerful users of the practice. They come in the colorations bay, chesnut, and dark bay, ranging from sizes of small ponies to medium donkeys.

Aatxe
A shapeshifting spirit that is often seen as a red bull or young man, whom attacks criminals and/or those whom are not pure in soul on stormy nights.

Achachila
Nature spirits or described as looking like old people and are said to dwell underground in the mountains. The Achachilas control the prevailing weather and send frost, hail, or rain to the region according to how benevolently disposed to humans they may be at the time.

Bánánach
Also known as banshees, they are the souls of women whom haunts battlefields, and scream when they feel that death is near.

Boggarts
Similar to Brownies, they are hobgoblins that often take the form of small humans. Those that do take the shape of small humans are often much more vicious than those that take the form of animals. They are known for playing tricks, terrorizing travelers, and frightening humans.

Gryphon
Gryphons are monsterous creatures with the head of a bird of prey, and the body of a lion. They are strong animals, and skilled at aero-acrobatics.

Sleipnir
Sleipnir is an eight-legged horse that is swift and fearless, with a giant stride.

Pegasus
The Pegasus is a flying horse in Greek mythology, usually pictured as a majestic white stallion with powerful wings.

Bildad
The Bildad is about the size of a beaver, but with a hooked beak, webbed feet, and curiously enormous flexible hind legs that can project it through the air for a distance of up to 130 feet.

Echidna
Echidnas are described as immortal and ageless beings, half-nymph, half-snake that strikes swiftly with bright eyes and fair cheeks, that feeds on living flesh.

Centaur
The Centaurs are a legendary race of creatures, part man and part horse. They are known for their nobility, but they are also quick to fight amongst themselves.

Abere {no photo, all had partial nudity}

They are female demons portrayed as wild women with young female attendants. Abere seduce men to come willingly to them in the waters of a lake, then commands rushes and reeds to grow around and conceal them. Hidden by the reeds, they entrap the gullible men and murder them.

Naiad
Naiads are sirens that, like most water spirits, lure men to their deaths. What makes them different is that if you manage to actually get one out of it's pond, it becomes a mortal human. But, as soon as it returns to it's pond, it becomes immortal again. Naiads will often have alter egos for their immortal and mortal form most often then not, as well.

Pixie
Pixies are much like fairies, other than the fact that they are not flower spirits and couldn't care less for the plants themselves. They are known as pranksters, and find amusement in spooking humans and other creatures. They are difficult to maintain and control, but even when you do they cannot be trusted. They, like fairies, can have dragonfly, moth, or butterfly wings.

Buttercup Fairy Example, Pine Fairy Example, Elderberry Fairy Example
Fairies are rather well-known fantasy creatures, known to be creatures of light that are harmonious with nature, especially flowers. What is not commonly known with them is that Fairies are much like Dryads in the sense that they are the spirits of flowers, whereas Dryads are spirits of trees. Fairies are very mischevious, but not nearly as mischevious as their cousins, the Pixies. Fairies can have wings that resemble dragonfly wings, moth wings, or butterfly wings. They spend most of their days tending to flowers and gossiping.

Satyr
Satyrs are half man, half goat creatures that are known to be drunkards. Some are portrayed as seducing women by playing the pipes.

Dryad
Dryads are tree spirits that take the form of immortal women. If their tree dies, they die. If they die, their tree dies. They each have an impeccable bond with their tree. They are very tall, and are kind and elegant to all creatures, although they are not fond of naiads seeing that they drown humans for sport.

Harpy
They have the face of an old hag, and the body of an eagle. They are very hostile, and will attack humans for pure sport.

Imp
Imps are often referred to as 'fallen fairies' because of their extreme similarity to the other species. They are the same seeing that they practice magic, but they are much darker and serve demons, where fairies often serve unicorns or other pure beings.

Peryton
A great stag with razor sharp teeth and wings. They can be very dangerous when on the move {you can be gored by their antlers if they're moving in a flock}, but they are otherwise rather docile, and are more likely to flee a perilous situation than fight their way out of it.

Cerebus
Cerberi makes sure that no living person can enter the Underworld and likewise, guarantees that no spirit of the dead can escape. Cerberi are immensely huge and fierce, which makes them good at their job. They have a bad reputation, and for good reasons. Some say they are the spirits of Hell themselves.

Unicorn
Unicorns are the most powerful users of magic known/unknown to man. They are the most pure beings on the planet, and the touch of a unicorn horn can heal even the worst wounds or sicknesses. The only known way to be able to kill a unicorn is by piercing it's heart with a horn of it's own kind; because of this, many unicorns have been killed in battle against other unicorns.

Almyra is very down to earth, and sweet. She can be loud and talk too much, which can steer others in the other direction. She is very different then all/most centaurs, seeing that she is very clumsy when it comes to handling weapons, and takes no joy in starting fights. She isn't the sharpest tool in the shed sometimes, but people love her for that. She can be unintentionally blunt, and spastic, and often ticks off pixies and faries because of this.

History:
Nothing too out of the ordinary, other than being bullied as a young centaur because she was so different from the rest of the bunch.

Esfir is that one person everyone sees as nice and helpful, although she essentially the opposite. Esfir is an actor. She wants you to think that she is nice, but deep down, she is laughing at how gullible you are. Esfir is a liar as well, she is the one of the naiads who always goes forward to lure the men in to the water, lying and telling home safeness and warmth lay ahead. being what many would call 'hot', Esfir gets just about whatever she wants form humans, using her charm and acting skills to cheat them in to doing her bidding. Esfir truly, has a black heart. she has no feelings what so ever for anything other then her fellow naiads, although, if one naiad is in trouble from a human, perhaps, she'll kill the human without a second thought.
History:
Estir can't really remember much father back then a hundred and fifty years,and Esfir is about 300.
