The man looked at Aysha and twisted his face into a more like a snarl than a smile. He shot the ceiling and pointed the gun back at Merr. "Step back or the boy dies..."

Merr fell unconscious from loss of blood. He could only take so much.

Jazz finished off the man and chucked his corpse against the wall. He fell to his knees, by his brothers side. "Merr...Merr?"

Merr opened his eyes, but they were red and pupiless.

Jazz gulped and stepped away from Merr, his body language showing only one thing. The instinct to flee was becoming stronger and stronger.

[Rayen]

Aysha wanted to run away. Instinct things and such all. But she couldn't. There, in front of her, the only person she had grew attached to, was lethally injured. It would surely be both reckless and dangerous, but she still loved him more than anything.

Cautiously, she stepped forwards. ''Merr?'' she asked once more, not louder than a calm whisper. She tried not to let show her fear.

Merr started to change, he was turning into what he really was. He looked at the others and his hackles raised, the fur on his back stood on end, increasing his size. He puffed out his chest and stared at them all, hunger gnawing at his insides.

Jazz turned back into a large wolf and ran away, he was not going to get involved with demon Merr.

[Rayen]

Aysha stepped back. Her eyes even more yellow, as fear settled in. What was happening? Why them? Why now and there?

Merr snarled at them and looked at Aysha, she was separated from the group. He padded towards her, he smelt of death itself. He could taste her fear, as his forked tongue flicked out of his mouth. His curved fangs glinting in the light.

[Rayen]

Aysha stepped back once more. Why don't you just run away, a voice asked her?
I won't abandon him. He's hurt, she replied mentally.

Merr growled and snapped at the air, his jaw splitting into four parts, like a snake's. He shrieked at her and slashed at the ground beside her with his reptilian tail, the metal denting the ground as it hit.
There was no good emotion in his eyes, nothing but pain and hatred.

[Rayen]

Aysha's scream of pain when Merr's fangs dug into her chest was surely heard all over the street. Her eyes quickly flashed from yellow to black, as if some kind of ink was flooding them. Even the white parts soon became pitch black. She wanted to speak, but she couldn't. She fell back and, strangely, behind the pain and fear, she felt almost... thankful.

Merr shook himself and lunged at Aysha again. This time coming up short and circling her.
