Avery followed him silently, staying a little behind him as they walked. She wasn't aware of him glancing at her, for her light blue eyes were fixated upon the ground in front of her feet. Some of her reddish brown hair fell in front of her face, and she brushed it away with the back of one hand.

Avery eventually looked up, then followed Darius's gaze. She blinked against the sunlight [ unless it's not daytime :3 ] and she noticed Lucas, noting the rather bored look on his face. She couldn't help but smile lightly. It seemed like everyone had nothing to do today.

Avery watched as Darius walked inside before turning her back to the mansion she called home. She scanned the foliage in front of her, breathing in all the forest scents she could. She loved it out here, surrounded by wilderness, and pitied humans for not being able to experience it. Sure, a camping trip every once in a while might please them, but it was nothing compared to running through the trees and letting the wind blow through your fur. She stopped herself from getting to deeply lost in her thoughts. She knew she was somewhat of a day dreamer, and that she could space off easily, so she shook her head to clear her mind and walked into the house.

* Lexa rushed through the trees of a dense forest, weaving and dodging obstacles. Her heart raced as she felt an arrow lightly brush her ear. She took a tight turn left and continued forward, taking only a few seconds to look behind her. She saw no one in view but still ran for assurance. She finally decided to stop and climb a tree for a scouting of the area. She looked in the direction of with she and the ones chasing her had come. She was able to see a few slumped shoulders and heard faint yelling. Smirking in victory, she dropped down from the tree and walked forward, following her instinct for safety and shelter. After a while, she came across a small clearing with a large mansion sitting upon the ground. She snorted a little
"What fool does this? I guess a smart one. Who'd venture out here in search of valuables?" she muttered, taking tentative steps around the clearing to stay hidden in the thick forest. She'd walked around the property until she found the front door. Knocking did seem appropriate, but what smart person would let in a stranger?
"Looks like a little.... convincing is in order." She lightly chuckled then stood up tall and proud to look as though she belonged. Confidently, she strode to the door and knocked loudly enough to be heard. She patiently waited for the owner to answer *
