Is it just me whose having difficulty understanding this math?

*sighs* So I entered an art contest for some Rare's list pets. One was above the big gap, another a main Rare's list, another a september, etc.

Spent 17+ hours on it. I hoped for at least 2nd or 3rd place, I didn't hold out hope for the Grand prize.

Not even last place... ;~;

They did give me an '09 Rare but it felt more like a "I'm giving you something so you don't feel bad" rather than a "I'm giving you something because your art was deserving."

Now I'm not sure if I want to keep the '09 Rare though...

It WAS nice and they didn't have to but I don't feel like it was worth the effort I put into the art...

Now I can't decide whether to keep it, give ti back, or give it away to someone. I think looking at it will just remind me too much of the contest. But if I give it back they might be upset or know how I feel and I don't want to seem ungrateful...but if I gift it away then I might regret it later
