Cometstar looked around for Moonblaze. At last, he found her. Padding over, he asked: "Do you want to go hunting with me? I need to ask you something."

Dovestar purred. "Hello, Shadeheart, Planetheart. And you too, kits!" "Hello, Dovestar!" they all replied, Ghostkit and Smallkit looking up from their play-fight. Greyheart padded up. He whispered something to her. She nodded. Turning around, Greyheart started assigning patrols. Moonfoot, Gorgewhisker, and Silverpaw went hunting, Stonemist went on a border patrol with Shadeheart, and Greyheart went to the bording patrol with them.

Flakestar shivered. He stared at his den, but didn't go in. Sighing, he padded off to WaterClan, hoping to talk with Waterstar.

Waterstar was talking with Glacierstrike in her den. "So," she started. "Want to go hunting?"
