Luke strolledd over to his car to pick up his two duffel bags and his guitar. He walked over to one of the spare cabins and placed his stuff down on the bed. He had a perfect view of the field next to the barn, which happened to be the stallion pasture, luckily enough.
He ran out to his car and left his trailer by the cabin. Oncereaching the barn he picked up his tack and left his western stuff next to the stall, taking his english stuff to the tack room. Shadow nudged the tack and whinnied when he realised that meant they were going for a ride, and stamped his hoof, impatiently. Luke didn't bother with a halter and just opened the door allowing Shadow to do as he pleased. Shadow trotted out and stood silently next to his stall waiting to be tacked up. Luke came back and laughed at Shadow standing there with his head held high. Once the laugh track was over he tacked him up and mounted him, leading him out of the barn.

Emily Took Rose around the Ring twice to warm her up. Once the Georgian Grande was all warmed up, she proceeded to the first jump. It was a fairly easy vertical, beings that Emily wasn't very experienced, and neither was Rose. She prepared for the mare to jump and readied herself. The duo jumped the first jump with ease and move to the next, which was a little bit harder. It was an oxer. Emily wasn't too fond of oxers, but she decided to try it any way. She took Rose around again, and prepared herself. She took a deep breath and as soon as Rose neared the oxer she closed her eyes. She kept her eyes tightly shut until she felt her mare hit the ground. She open them and let out a soft sigh of relief. At that point, she had had enough, but she felt her Aunt watching her... so she contiued, taking Rose around again and proceeding.

After Emily had finnished with the jumps, she began walking Rose around the ring, Cooling the large mare off. Rose chewed at the bit, nostrils flaring. The mare flicked her tail and snorted, styarting to regain her breath. Emily pulled her to a stop and Rose felt emily dismount and bring her reins back over her head. She nickered and gently nudged the girls face with her velvet nose. Emily smiled and rubbed the mares nose and kissed her nose "That's my girl." she said, leading her out of the ring and back towards the barn untack her and take her back out to the mare's pasture.

Jessica smiled and turned to go back into the barn. She went over to her horse, Hugo, Who had his head over his stall door. "Hey buddy." She cooed, to the stallion. The Appaloosa stallion nickered and prodded the woman's pockets for a treat. Jessica chuckled and reached into her pocket and pulled out a mint. She unwrapped it and laid it in her palm, holding it out. Hugo took the mint gently and chewed it. He swallowed it, and looked for another one. Jessica rubbed his nose "That's enough for now." she said, and grabbed his halter and lead from the hook. She slipped it over his nose and fastened it on. She clipped on the lead and opened his stall and began leading him towards the pasture.

Dixie snorted and followed Jessica. Jessica wanted to keep an eye on Dixie, just because of the new dogs around. Not, that Dixie would hurt them, she just wanted to make sure there was no problem. The rottweiler obeyed and followed closely behind Jessica and Hugo. Her tags jingling as she went. Dixie's job was to keep the coyotes that inhabbited the surronding area away from the Horses and the other anumals that stayed at the ranch. It was a pretty big job. Dixie sneezed and continued on, nose to the ground, investigating as she normally did.

Personality (5+lines): David doesn't make friends easily, mostly because of his shy disposition and tendency to distrust others. Since childhood, he's been a quiet individual and doesn't speak to others very much. Despite this, he doesn't scare easily. He knows for a fact that he could easily drop most people on their ass, but isn't arrogant. In fact, he keeps many of his skills a secret, but can occasionally be found performing Tai Chi or meditating somewhere on the ranch. Environmentally-minded, David buys organic and tries to reduce his carbon footprint whenever possible. He keeps a strict exercise schedule, and eats very healthy. Very rarely does he indulge in dessert or snacks, and the same goes for his mount, Rocky. David feeds him nutritious oats and organically-grown hay, and forbids anyone from treating him with sugar cubes or crackers. Because of his lack of human friends, David finds most of his company in Rocky and a few of the other horses. He considers Rocky his "best friend," and is easily offended if someone finds fault in his horse.
History (5+ lines): Born and raised in Colorado, David was never a popular child. In fact, he was very often bullied and picked on. After one particularly bad incident that left him with a bloody nose and fractured clavicle, David's father signed him up for martial arts lessons. At first, David resented the whole idea, but eventually started making progress. By his eighteenth birthday he held a black belt and was competing in state tournaments. After graduation, David began searching for colleges, and eventually found one with his preferred major near Fort Laramie, Wyoming. While going to school, David works part-time in the nearby city of Cheyenne, and rides his horse, Rocky, during most of his free time. When moving to Fort Laramie, David decided to purchase a horse to keep him busy on weekends, and after searching for a few weeks, was captivated by Rocky's spirit and gentleness.

Fitness. David is always on top of his healthy diet and exercise regimen, and jogs often.

Personality (5+ lines): Slow to trust and quick to assume, Rocky can be described as slightly paranoid, yet friendly. Unfortunately, he isn't that smart, either, leading to his former issue of finding a home. Though determined, Rocky has trouble focusing, and his attention often drifts to things outside the arena. His movements are a little stiff and he doesn't seem to "get" dressage moves just yet, but David is determined to turn him into a winner. Like his owner, Rocky is timid of others (both human and equine), and prefers time alone or with David to time spent with other horses.
History: Rocky originally belonged to a small family with one child, a daughter. The girl received Rocky on her twelfth birthday, and took care of him extraordinally well. She began to train him in English dressage, but he had trouble concentrating on collecting his gaits and paying attention. When the girl moved away to college where Rocky could not follow, her parents decided to rehome him instead of keeping him where no one would pay him attention. Due to his lack of skills and uninteresting appearance, Rocky drifted from shelter to shelter until David Hyland adopted him as a pleasure horse.

Likes
Carrots. Rocky will follow anyone who offers him a carrot.
Running. Rocky's light build and long legs give him great speed.

Cold. Rocky chills easily due to his skinny frame and short hair.

We've checked into the cabins already." Si had finished her feed, nuzzling Alexa's arm for more. Alexa gave her a 'you-know-better' glance at her, before removing her bucket. James straighten himself from Silver's stable door and checked on Bolt. He had finished his feed and was munching on a hay net. He slid into his horse's stable and removed the empty bucket, giving it to Alexa. Suddenly, he felt an urge to ask, "Is there a piano here?" He said, rather abruptly as he turned towards Amy-Mae with a questioning expression.

Personality: Ashton is a little tricky to figure out. He can be a bit of a geek, but only around people he knows well. He can be a little immature, from time to time, but knows how to be mature. He's very polite with the ladies, always a gentleman- unless of course you really try to irritate him. He takes remarks about his horse very personally, often getting offended when his pride and joy gets badmouthed. So, all in all, he's a pretty nice guy, but it would be wise to watch your mouth.

History (5+ lines): He grew up on a ranch in Montana, and learned how to herd calves at the young age of eight, and at nine he learned how to rope. When he was about fifteen, he had gotten in a bad accident at a competition, falling off his horse and getting kicked when he landed, getting run over by a cow shortly after. He had broken a few ribs, and an arm, forced to stay in bed for months until he was completely healed. The second he could, however, he got right back into the saddle.
When he turned sixteen, he had to move to Wyoming, since his parents had passed away and he had no other relatives in the state. About two years later, when he was eighteen, he got a new horse, trying to find the right place to board her, but was never satisfied with the ranches he had tried. He has been boarding at Rosewood for a month or two now, and is liking it so far.

Strengths:
Survival skills. If he was thrown into a jungle with nothing but the clothes on his back, he could survive, no problem.
His even temper. When a lot of people would lose their head, he could keep himself together. Not many people have seen him angry. He hopes to keep it that way.

She's a very easy mare to get along with.

History: She was foaled at a ranch nearby Rosewood, the ranch being known for its Australian Stock Horses, and its Quarter Horses. Ashton had purchased her when she was around five years old, and she instantly bonded with him.
