Urr...On another subject, I want to know if I'm the only (elective) Wiccan here who is annoyed when someone calls me a witch, I looked up some stuff and saw that Wiccan's and Witches follow different "laws" and by reading the one for witches I get pretty Darn mad when someone calls me a witch...Anywho...no offense anyone who is a witch...

And another thing, anyone like my new siggie? I love it and am thinking about making a shirt that matches it, lol.

What do you mean, a "law" for witches? I've never really seen one; could you share it?

Hmm i wouden't get mad really, as i think generally people don't know Wicca well as a religion so they just asume that we are witches as well. But then i can't really say anything as iam currently studying witchcraft more than i study Wicca/Paganisim XD

Like i remember telling my friend that iam Wiccan first thing she asked if iam a witch and if iam evil, I didn't really blame her for asking those questions since people just don't know abot Wicca much (Well here in the UK anyways XD)

Well, there are quite a few witches and pagans who are annoyed at being called Wiccan, so I'd assume that the opposite happens too. (Wiccans annoyed to be called witches and Pagans)

Yeah, but myself, I only get offended by being called a witch because I know that their all branches from Pagan stuff, so is Christianity but no one believes me on that once they've been baptized, they say that one god made this world and they had not taken other religions and shaped them to their own desires, but, isn't that all religion is in the first place?

Yes, I agree but I'm a pagan wiccan who does practice magic and witchcraft.. BUT I do get mad when someone calls me a witch { In a bad way } and just to suprize them I yell back " H*ll yea and I'm a proud one! " It throws them off and it funny to see their faces.
With the creation and christian belief part, I've noticed that the bible contradicts itself quite alot.. Also how that he spoke the earth into creation.. if it says earth specicifcally who made the other planets??

Has anyone noticed that there were no humans around to actually see the earth being created and write the begining of Genesis? Yet visions outside of the Bible are always condemed as false.. including the Qu'ran. I just can't wrap my head around that logic. Thus another step of me being pushed out of Christianity. lol

All religions have creation myths. It all stems from one fact: religions exist to put an answer to three question.

How did we get here?
Where are we going?
What is the best way to live now?

Every single religion out there gives answers to these three questions, it's the entire purpose of telling creation myths in a religion. The Native Americans did it, and the monotheistic religions do it (grouping together the 'big three'). Christianity is followed by the majority of the world and that can be traced back to Roman influence and later that of significant uprise when it basically became mandatory for survival in the Dark Ages. While other religions exist, yes, in most modern civilizations in our world, Christianity is dominant in practice and it is looked at as the normal belief system.
