Kia let out a scream as she tumbled through the air, wind blasting in her ears. It was hard to tell up from down, left from right, everything was just spinning blue and white. She suddenly found herself falling face-down, speeding towards tumbling waves of the sea. Confusion and panic muddled together in her mind, The sea? Maybe it's just a lake....... she didn't have time to figure it out, she quickly morphed into human form and went into a diving position to save herself from belly-flopping. She landed in the water with a splash, feeling her muscles jolt as she was engulfed by the icy waves. For a moment, Kia was paralyzed, letting her body flow limply with the current. Then she found the strength to swim to the surface, her head breaking through the waves. She spluttered and gasped for breath, feeling her muscles going numb. A freezing wave slapped her face, Kia tasted salt on her tongue and spat it out. Damn, it's the sea, who knows how far the shore is. She began treading water and looked around, she could see Dara a couple of yards away, screaming for the jet to return. Kia gasped when she spotted a thin strip of land half a mile away, it wasn't an island as far as she could see. Suddenly she felt something grasp her shoulder, she cried out in alarm and turned to see Dara in human form.
"You! This is your fault!" she snarled.
Kia quickly kicked her away and began swimming towards shore, cutting smoothly through the rough currents. She could hear Dara struggling to keep pace. Kia's clothes slowed her down, she could feel Dara claw at her ankle. She dove beneath the water, breaking free from Dara's gasp.
After another ten minutes of struggling, Kia made it to shore, with Dara close behind. She stood up and scrambled onto the sand, she felt something smash into her from behind. Dara was in wolf form, pinning Kia down teeth bared. Kia quickly morph and twisted beneath her, throwing the other were-wolf off. She leaped on her, digging her teeth into Dara's pale brown and gold fur. The two wolves rolled in the sand, clawing and biting each other. Kia felt Dara open a large gash in her leg and flung her away, crying out in pain. Kia turned and ran into the beach-side pine forest, feeling blood running down her leg and spattering onto the pine needles. With her legs pumping, she sped away,knowing that she couldn't win this fight. She flicked her ears, searching for the sounds of Dara's pursuit, but she couldn't hear anything above the sound of her panting. Kia paused and looked around her, the forest didn't look familiar at all, how was she going to find her friends?

I this can't believe Dara and Kia are sisters! Wait a minute.... I just made a connection. Is Dara (as in the Dara Kia met and fought over the rabbit with) the same Dara as in (I'm your sister and I'm going to kill you)?

Kia morphed into human so she could climb a tree or something, but let out a soft gasp as her morph strained the wound. She had to climb a tree, Dara was scared of climbing trees, Kia knew from when they hung out together in the forest one time. With out looking at her wound, she turned to a large tree, it had no branches to climb except for twenty feet above her head, we there was a very thick branch which dipped into the trunk at the base. It would be a good place to stay for the night, but she had to find a way up there. She turned her head and say a slightly smaller tree with thick branches, one of the branches stretched out and intertwined with the bigger tree's branch, the branch that Kia wanted to get to. Perfect. She walked towards the smaller tree and wrapped her arms around the first branch. She swung her good leg up and over until she was laying, stomach-down, on the branch, her wounded leg dripping blood. Kia huffed and hauled herself onto the next branch, slowly making her way up. When she finally reached the entwined branch, she was out of breath, it's hard to make sure you don't strain a large wound when climbing a tree. She stopped to rest as she stared across the wooden "bridge" made up of the two branches. After another few minutes, she got on her hands and knees and slowly began crawling across. The breeze tugged at her clothes and caused the leaves to move around her, giving the illusion that the branches were moving. Kia stopped for a moment, feeling her heart flop around in her chest like a fish out of water. Taking a deep breath she continued along, moving slowly, feeling leaves brush her sides. She finally reached other side and lay down in the dip, feeling relieved. She was still loosing lots of blood, getting weaker and weaker, but now she was too tired to do anything but sleep. Kia closed her eyes and slept a dreamless sleep, only to wake up a few hours later to see two large blue eyes staring right at her.
