Alexa grinned at Amy-Mae and said with a chuckle, "Sounds like a long story. I'm Alexa, Alexa Bennett by the way and this my buddie Jammy." She punched him lightly on the shoulder, laughing at his old school nickname which he hated. James gave Alexa a death stare and turned to face Amy-Mae. "No it isn't, it's James." He said shortly. Aurora nibbled at his boot laces, growling at his tone of voice. "Your horse is very pretty! He's beautiful." Alexa said to Amy-Mae, finishing off grooming Silver's legs. The grey mare snorted, throwing her head up and down. Alexa chuckled, giving her a good scratch in between her forelegs.

Ally smiled at Annie, and placed the bridle on its hook, and put the grooming kit in the shelving, before fixing the rugs and putting them in the chest under the saddle rack. "I was right, you are beside me!" she said, just as Lola came in, barking. "She barks a lot...she doesn't hate cats so much that she'd go for them right?" Ally asked, knowing Alfie could be a handful with dogs that don't like cats. She looked over to her shelving, one of the top ones was empty with just a small, centred-flat pillow where Alfie slept a lot of the time, and just as she looked over, Alfie trotted in, and then ran past Lola, jumped onto my saddle rack, which held my covered saddles, and then he jumped into the shelf. Ally smiled at the cat, before looking at Lola, who was looking up at the cat.

With a laugh, she replied. "Yeah, it's a long story. I have a old nickname as well, its Swifty. How i got that is another long story, and thanks." She said. She came out of the stall. After realizing she had left her bag in there, she went back in the stall and got it. She closed the bottom gate, but left the top one open. She had to have that bag with her, it had her inhaler in it and she never knew when she would need it. Of course, she hated having to carry it around with her but she had gotten used to it by now. She remembered the one time that she didn't take it with her when she went out somewhere, and that memory still gave her the chills. Even after all those years ago it happened. She put that thought aside, she didn't want to remember it again. Or it to happen either. She slung the bag on her shoulder. Tomorrow, i'm just going to put it in my pocket. She thought. She only had the bag because her trousers she was wearing had no pockets in them, and she had to put her inhaler somewhere didn't she.

Annie hawked Lola out of it."I'm sure.We'll see now anyway",she said still watching Lola.Lola growled and lunged at Alfie,jumping in the air to get him.Annie jumped forward and caught her,mid air."Nope,not today Lola...or ever for that matter",Annie said holding onto her fluffy dog,who was growling at the little,innocent cat."Be nice",she said not putting her down."Oh dear",she said to Ally frowning."I'm going to unload my luggage now I think".Annie thought for a minute and realized that she didn't know which cabin she was in.

Ally looked over at Lola, a bit unsure. But she knew Alfie was smart, he'd be ok. But, she felt it would be better to know that. "It should be ok...Alfie's smart, the only dog he goes right up to is Dixie. He knows how to stay safe. Lola can't reach that shelf anyway" she said, and then looked out the tack room door. "As far as I know, we can just pick any Cabin we like. I heard someone say that two and three are taken, and I'm in five. So I'd say just pick from the rest" she explained to her. "Is that all your horse gear?" Ally then asked, remembering the estimate of it to take two trips

Annie looked around at the gear and blushed lightly."Yup",she said with a embarrassed smile.People usually had more,but Annie only bought what she need.Annie thought for a moment."Is anyone in the cabin with you?"she asked not wanting to be in a cabin on her own.Lola squirmed in her arms."No girl",she said keeping a firm hold of her."Oh!Crash's travelling gear needs to come off too",Annie said remembering about Crash.

There is no secret so close as that between a rider and his horse.

"Aha cool!" Alexa said, finishing off brushing Silver. "You must know your place around here then! Mind giving us a quick tour? We're new here and this place is so big! We've checked into the cabins already." Si had finished her feed, nuzzling Alexa's arm for more. Alexa gave her a 'you-know-better' glance at her, before removing her bucket. James straighten himself from Silver's stable door and checked on Bolt. He had finished his feed and was munching on a hay net. He slid into his horse's stable and removed the empty bucket, giving it to Alexa. Suddenly, he felt an urge to ask, "Is there a piano here?" He said, rather abruptly as he turned towards Amy-Mae with a questioning expression.

Ally smiled at Annie. "Oh, its just you said we might need the second trip before we started." she explained, just before Annie mentioned the cabins. Ally did have a lot of gear, mainly because she did spend a lot of time with her horse, and she did compete. Gemini must have about two heavy rugs and like nine coolers, but the mare wore rugs all year round, so she didn't grow a winter coat. The mare never needed to be clipped, because of her short all-year-round coat and it was handy for showing. Plus, she hardly shedded at all. As for tack, she did have three saddles, but one was kept back in the cabin for shows, along with the show bridle. In the tack room, she had an everyday-use standard saddle, and a western saddle she sometimes rode in. She only had one set of brushes, and a

couple of feed buckets, as well as a small pile of numnahs and a couple pairs of tendon boots and sets of travel gear, again including the couple she had in the cabin for shows. But everything she had, she bought with the money she earned by working. She sometimes helped other people with their horses, including calming and breaking them.When Annie asked who was in with her, Ally spoke again. "Most people take a cabin for themselves, and I'm in mine on my own at the moment. Apart from Alf, who has about five beds in different rooms. All in high places. But I have a second room in mine, which you're welcome to have if you want" she said, not minding the extra company around the house, and she knew Annie might be fun company, as she seemed friendly, and sound out. She walked over to Crash's stable with Annie as she spoke, leaving Alfie to lie in that little shelf set just for his cat naps. She leaned on the stable door as Annie removed Crashes travel gear, leaving the girl to do it herself, knowing that horses settled better with people they knew quite well.

Annie grinned."That would be awesome!",she said happy to be sharing a cabin with Ally.She had only met the girl but she really,genuinely enjoyed her company.Annie carried Lola into the stable with her and set her down only when she had closed the door behind her,just to make sure that she wouldn't go back to stalk poor Alfie.Crash snorted a soft greeting and waddled up to her in his travelling boots which made him walk awkwardly.Giggling,Annie rubbed the spotted horse's head and then bent down to remove his boots.Once she had all the boots off and tail bandages,she walked out the door,followed by Lola.

Allie smiled as Crash walked. "Thank god, another horse that walks funny in travel boots!" she commented, holding her hand, in a fist for a less threatening approach, for the appaloosa stallion to sniff. He reached his neck out, and blew out on his closed fist, making Ally smile. "Rooming shouldn't be a problem, as long as Lola doesn't bring in too much muck, and I still get to own a cat" she said, looking down at Lola, moving back as she came out with Annie. "Honestly, I don't think having them in the same house should be a problem. Alf spends a lot of time in my room, unless he wants food. Either way, I think it would be fun to get to know this cutie!" Ally said, bending down to rub the Australian Sheppard. Growing up, her grandmother had one a dog of the same breed, and Ally couldn't spend enough time with the dog.
