Purring at Oceansong's typical grouchiness, Dapplestar dipped her head towards the elder and meowed calmly, "Of course, Oceansong. I'll give the apprentices a reprimanding for being forgetful again!" Sitting up, the she-cat curled her long tail around her paws and added, for the sake of small talk, "How have you been these days? I've just been so busy lately, I haven't had the time to visit you." Blinking, a look of sheepishness crossed her young-ish face. Soon, Dapplestar would be 31 moons old.

The young warrior frowned for a moment, then her eyes widened as he continued. "Well, you've already asked me to come hunting, and I said yes." She meowed with a small grin. "I'd love to practice sparring as well, and spend time with you." Had she really just said that? Yes, yes she had.[/center]

"Anyways," he meowed, shaking his head, "I think play fighting would be quite nice as well."
This time, he let a hint of a purr release from his throat.

Whitepaw decided to go out into the forest. She sat up and looked around. She couldn't see her mentor anywhere, anyway so she just decided to go for a walk, maybe a hunt. She stood up and padded over to the entrance way. She exited it and just started to go for a run.

Then her gaze softened, she noticed that familiar sheepish look she always did when she was young. How do you always calm me down Dapplestar? Then she went back to her grumpy self. You should warn those apprentices that they had better bring me fresh new bedding or I'll have them pick my ticks for moons! And she stomped away in a huff.

A low, rumbly purr erupted from Foxheart's throat. He was excited to see how this was going to play out. Twitching his whiskers, he smiled at River and said, "Alrighty, then. Get going." The tabby tom snickered almost silently, then turned to Brokenlight and shot him an impish look. As Foxheart waited for River to depart, a feeling of worry shot through him, but only for an instant. Nothing's gonna happen.
