The brute cringed and he snarled again, he remade the jail of thicker wood, harder and more flammable, they produced a natural oil that fire used to burn. he moved vines within the cage and constricted her throat as she chocked out, "I can't he has me rooted!" she whimpered and she let a single tear escape as she lost consciousness, "CHASE!"

Chase snapped awake and shot to his feet.He changed into demon mode and lept on top of the brute.Lava burned the brute's back and shoulders.A fire knife cut Azzri free and fire burned the wood away.Chase kept his fire from spreading to the other trees.He raked the brute's throat open.

Dragon changed back into his normal form and watched Chase in shock.he slowly turned and nudged Azzri worriedly.

Azzri lay limp, her breath almost none as there were burn marks from the vines rubbing and constricting so much. She was less of life.

The brute was fighting back ferociously but as claws raked across his throat, he lost his breath. Unable to breath his throat was spewed places and he fell over dead, as he died, the cage of trees fell.

Rin walked to the kill pile after she had picked up her rabbit and sat it down. After she was finished there she walked back to Frost, "So.. How long have you been in this area?" She asked curiously.

"Just a few days."Frost replied.

Chase rushed to Azzri's side and lay down beside her.he curled around her and nuzzled her worriedly.

Dragon watched his brother,still shocked.He could tell that Chase was still not controlling his powers and yet he still seemed worried about Azzri.

Azzri's body knew the familiar feel of this particular wolf. she nuzzled into him deeper, using the last of her energy before she fell back, she spoke, "My protector." then she closed her eyes and fell into darkness.

Rin nodded, " I've been here for probably a month now." She looked up at the sky then back at him. "What is your ablility?" She was a bit curious, his name was Frost so it would probably be Ice but she still wanted to make sure.

Chase gently picked Azzri up and carried her to her den.He set her down on her moss nest and lay a fire blanket around her shoulder."I'm sorry.I must go."he whispered and vanished.

Dragon walked to the entrance of Azzri's cave and sat down.Since he was twins with Chase he could look and sound just like him when he wanted to.He decided to guard Azzri's den until she woke up.

"Ice."Frost replied with a smile.A ice pup appeared and hugged Rin's paw.
