Kailyn shrugged. "Would you rather be alive, or have a muffin or be a walking dead person?" he asked, slumping on the bed.

[princess pudding]

Haru thought about it for a moment. "Is that a trick question?" She asked, cocking her head. She didn't wait for a reponse. She dropped like a stoe onto the bed, and curled up beside Kailyn, yawning.

[mugwart]

Kailyn couldn't help but wrap his arms around her. The door was locked, the windows were mostly boarded anyways, and he felt as if he could sleep. He kept bow and sheath in-hand, though.

Haru's face looked flushed, but after a moment, she fell relaxed in his arms. She pressed her head to his chest, and closed her eyes.

[mugwart]

Kailyn slowly drifted off into a deepish sleep. As deep as he could get with his body flooding with fear of walkers breaking in and taking his home.

[princess pudding]

Haru opened her eyes and blinked sleepily. Light streeked inside the cabin in thin rays, warming the house.

[mugwart]

Kailyn opened his eyes. The first thing he felt was relief. Another night alive. He rolled over and looked at Haru, and smiled. "Sorry about last night..." he murmured. "I just... You are the first person I have been with since my girlfriend died. I didn't want you to get hurt."

[princess pudding]

"That's okay," Haru murmured, pressing her face to the covers and yawning loudly, "It was so warm...Comfy...Stupid zombies ruined all that."

[mugwart]

Kailyn nodded sadly. "But we are alive." he said, smiling slightly.

(I just woke up a bit ago and I am really tired and keep having writers block.)

[princess pudding]

{That's fine, I won't be on long. I have a lot chores, and then my party.}

Haru blinked and thought about it. "Yeah, I guess so."
