The dogs tails wagged back in forth, rapidly. She laughed quietly and pulled him inside her home. "You home mom?" she called. The house was silent, except for the sound if her closing the door, and the dogs panting. No response. "She's gone once again." she said.

Krypt nodded, "I'm guessing she's not home much?"

Lee nodded. "She is still in denial from my father's death. She is a painter, and puts her whole heart into it. She's probably out painting sonething somewhere." she said with a shrug. Her mother never paid any attention to her anymore. Instead of caring for her child, she only cared for painting.

"I bet I will." she said still smilling. "Is that a challenge? I could like text you a lot, and get annoying." she said with a small laugh.

Chance chuckled, "believe me. I have a really high level of tolerance." he said with a smile, "you can try."

Lee shrugged lightly. "I got so many pets that I never feel alone though." she said. She slid her hand into his, and lead him into the living room. The dogs followed them without a noise:
