The dark tom had awoken at dawn and watched the sun rise; a habit of his when he was anxious or bored. This morning had been no different to any other day as he was pretty bored. He had worked out some moons ago that the downside to being amused by a lot of things was that he got easily bored.
Echowind was now lying outside the warriors den, stretched out on his side. A low purr rumbled in his throat as he felt the sun on his dark pelt; soaking up its warmth. But he was eager to find someone to talk to or something to do, despite his obvious relaxed posture.

The sun rose in the sky, signaling the beginning of a new day. The leader slowly opened one amber eye, and then the other. She got up and shook herself free of any moss that had stuck onto her calico fur, then stretched, leaning backwards on her haunches while reaching forward with her front paws. Dapplestar padded out of her den on the side of the Highrock, wanting to relax a little before sorting today's duties. Finding a patch of sun next to the fresh-kill pile, the she-cat lay down on her side and thought. Obviously, we need a hunting trip to go out. As well as the daily patrols...

Sweetfire had gotten word that three of her fellow rouges were going to steal kits, and she stood up and stretched. Shaking moss from her fur, the medicine cat padded near the border and waited to see if they needed help coming back-if they had even left yet. She hadn't taken the time to see if the thieves were gone to steal the kits yet.

He sniffed, his whiskers twitching irritably. "No need to act so beliggerant, wot, 'round your tucker. I understand how it's got to be, livin' in the woods on your own." Benjy rolled to the side, pushing himself back onto his paws quickly. Now that Mist had moved away from him, he felt more confident in his actions. "So.. What's a young lass like you doin' 'round these parts? Can't y'tell there's vermin runnin' amok here?" Benjy looked appalled at the rogue at first; however, his ears lowered and he looked almost disgustingly sympathetic toward her. "Did you lose your mum? Pops?"
"Oh me? I figured I'd forgotten something. T'cha!" He hit his head lightly with a paw, looking embarrassed. "If you want to know, the name is Thaddeus! I'm what's known as a general." His voice sounded a bit smug here, full of pride. "A leader of all hares! I come from up north, 'round the mountains, if you've been up there."

Oceansong woke up grumbling and feeling stiff. "Wet bedding again!" The apprentices never delivered fresh new moss on time anymore. She stood up and hobbled out of the elder's den to the fresh-kill pile. Wonder what's good here... She scanned the pile and decided to choose a plump squirrel. She picked it up and padded back to the elders den to eat her breakfast. After she finished, she hobbled back outside and looked at Dapplestar. "I have wet bedding again for the 5th time this moon! Can you tell those apprentices of your's to bring me fresh new moss?"

Cole looked at the sunrise on top of the cave. He sighed at the beautiful sight. Weird for a cat who is blood thirsty and cold-blooded but he loved it. After it was over he looked around wondering what to do. I guess I'll just catch some breakfast. He leaped from rock to rock before he got to the entrance of the cave. Now that the sunrise was over, he was back to his old self went into the forest and caught a small but plump pigeon and devoured it. He stood up and padded back to the cave entrance.
