Shadow ears pricked as howls echoed nearby.

Evander lifted his head, sniffing. He growled and trotted on.

Anna stepped out of the bush once he was out of sight. "Whoa! My dad might be a spy!"

Riptide ran down the mountain, practily sliding.

"A spy for who though?" Shira asked as she watched Evander dash out of sight.

Anna shrugged. "I don't know..."

Evander trotted into camp, the rabbit in his mouth. He put it near the kill pile and walked into his den.

"C'mon," barked Shira, "Let's go back." Without waiting for an answer she dashed off.

Anna dashed after her friened.

Riptide flicked her tail as she near the territory where she heard Evander howl. She snifed the scent marker and passed through, now at the mercy of the pack.

Shira trotted back into camp. Yawning she walked towards where Sheykii was laying in the sun and curled up next to her.

Anna went and lay down next to Naomi, tail flicking.

Dapple walked over to Shadow. "Did you hear those howls?"

"Yes, but it didn't sound like any other pack's howls," Shadow replied.

Dapple pinned her ears. "One of them sounded familiar..."
