Siren|Female|Troubled|Sitting
The thin black female sat still and attentive in the shadows casted by the early morning sun just arising. Her frame and stature marking her elegance that she possesed. It troubled some as to how she could walk, talk, and stand so elegantly yet had been a stray her whole life. But she knew the answer, something had spoken to her. It had said hold yourself higher then society thinks you. Naturally the fae had taken this to heart and carried it out, presenting herself with a high and mighty manner. But in her eyes was something quite troubling, an orb of swirling mass of confusion. How long? It must be three weeks by now since The Prophets have spoken with me. Indeed, this was why she was troubled, lately nothing had come to her. Not a speck of dust or a single word from those who sent her messages through "the sight". But why? Why had she recieved not a single thing! This troubled her, and she had sat out all night in the rain trying to find something. Could it mean that everything was good or was it a bad omen? Her mind rattled with such things as her fur clung wet to her body from the heavy mist.
Demetri|Male|Curious|Watching
Demetri woke up as the sun peeked in to his box and split open his eyelids. The mist around made it slightly harder to breath and everything was damp. The brute knew that soon enough it would pass and be alright. So, happily he got up and trotted from his resting place to take a look around. As his eyes scanned over he searched for food even though he wasn't even hungry. Quickly he scolded himself for even thinking about taking a hungry dog's meal. As he looked up he saw a butterfly flapping around. It always made him curious as to why a butterfly could fly, but a dog could not. He jumped up, reaching his paws to the heavens in an attempt to catch the fluttering insect. It went on for a few minutes until something horrible happened. Demetri nearly faltered into the sun, he stopped and backed up quickly tripping over himself. "Why can't we go into the sun?" He asked no one in particular in a sad and lonely tone.
"A man can only walk the
roads of which his feet will take him.
He cannot ride on the back of
another to follow his."
"If I tell you where I'm going, there
will be no mystery. No one will ask
you the same question, because
you'll be following me."
"Me plus you? That equals two people
standing awkwardly because I'm not
good with people."

I cursed the sun, I pray for rain
I've run a mile to walk through pain
I've seen the worst and I've seen the best that I can be
God bless outlaws like me
~ Justin Moore

.:Ajax:.
The young brute sat under a bridge within the mist. He watched as the new day sun rose, seeing peeks at it through the damp haze. Ajax rose, and walked away from it, venturing deeper into the mist as it engulfed him. He wandered around, for nothing in particular. He saw a dark figure, and approached it, seeing Siren. "Hello, Siren, have you seen anything lately?" he said dipping his head to the black fae. He sat before er and watched the Oracle closely, remembering the day she was chosen so low ago. He wrapped his tail around his paws, and glanced around at the shadows from the rising sun.
And as I reinvent myself and I'm constantly curious about everything, I can't wait to see what's around the corner in newfound art and entertainment and exploration.

Do Not Steal|My Picture
.:Kodiak:.
Kodiak circled the edge of the mist, staying within it's boundaries. He watched carefully for movement, as he kept himself in control. Every time a shadow moved, his curiousness started to boil up. It took alot of his being to keep himself together, to not be yelled at again. He liked being a scout and didn't want to lose his position. He looked up at the sun, rising over the mist,"Another day," he whispered. The white brute started to make his circle's smaller, before finally coming to a stop at a puddle. He leaned down and lapped up the cold water, feeling it run down his throat as he at his reflection. He sat and stared at himself, thinking of his past.
There's something about the peace and quiet of a summer afternoon in the country...

Siren|Female|Troubled|Sitting
As a voice called out to her she snapped back into a reality. Stop dwindling in your own thoughts Siren! She scolded herself, her striking yellow eyes came up to meet her guest. Slightly relieved that it was just Ajax, she had worried it had been Bruce. She would have looked like a fool telling her leader that she had not seen a single thing for a long time. Maybe it was time to begin the search for an apprentice. "Hello Ajax. Sadly no, I haven't seen a thing in the past three weeks." She informed him, though the confidence was striking her voice with a daring statement. 'Question it and pay for your foolishness' her tone warned. She hated when another questioned her about her gift. Even when they called it a power, oh how that made her skin tingle.
Hey backwoods, you have to be careful. Pictures in every post are spam now. Just wanted to warn you so you didn't get a warning or anything!)

cʋяяɛит мσσ∂ :: Tired, very tired.
ℓσcαтισи :: Under the George Washington[ GW ] Bridge
ιитɛяαcтισи :: Demitri
cяʋƨн :: "Pssh..."
As the sun slowly lifted itself up above the concrete jungle of New York City, the city did not cease in the activity that had gone on consistently the night before. Bruce lifted his head slowly from the crevice in the wall of the bridge he had settled down in the night before. A slight itch started in his throat and he yawned, exposing his teeth. His ears went back as he heard a noise, but he soon realized that it was just a member of the pack. They were probably just waking up, or were wandering around. He sighed, Why must I wake in the morning when it is very difficult to go out until night? but he shook the thought off, You must remain strong, you know that the reason is that you need to make sure none of the others are seen. He shook his head, ridding himself of these thoughts that might eventually convince him to go back to sleep, as he really wished that he could. A heavy mist was hanging over the bridge, and he thought about going to see some of the other bridges, or just wandering around a few alleyways. However, all these thoughts were completely erased as he heard Demitri ask a question that probably should be answered.
His legs still asleep, he managed to stand up but almost fell over in the first few moments of being upright. He shook his head, and he couldn't see very well because of the heavy mist that sometimes covered New York City every morning. Granted it was early, but that never made him like the mist any more. After stabilizing his shaky hind left leg, he began moving over towards Demitri. He hoped that he wasn't going to surprise him, but maybe it would prove to be a wake-up for him, because if he remembered correctly he was a scout. Coming up behind Demitri, he began, "Because," he paused, trying to see if he had the right wording, "It's hard enough living this way, but bringing someone into this kind of life, or having to end their life because they saw you..." His voice trailed off for a moment before he continued, "Of course there are other reasons, as well."
He coughed, and trying to make up for his horrible answer he said, "That probably doesn't answer your question, but maybe I'll have a better answer later." He chuckled a little, "I'm not a very good explainer, sorry." He sighed, and watched as the sun slowly began inching up, moment by moment it didn't seem to move, but the large, glowing ball was captivating to look at. He had to force himself to look away and back at Demitri.

cʋяяɛит мσσ∂ :: Slightly jumpy, she's not used to the pack yet.
ℓσcαтισи :: An alleyway a few blocks from the GW Bridge
ιитɛяαcтισи :: None
cяʋƨн :: "I've never had one
Over the edge of the small wooden crate she had settled in for the night, the sun caused Alysia's eyes to open in little slits. As they struggled to get used to the light, she thought about what had happened a few weeks ago. She had been taken over by something, and she soon found herself being 'forced' into living the third way she's lived. Right as she was getting used to the second, she suddenly became part of the mystical pack which dogs often referred to as, 'The Devil's Kin." Although she was thrilled to have been deemed worthy, she wondered if it was something to do with what some dogs had told her right before this had happened. She shook these thoughts from her head, It's sunrise, you might as well get up. She slowly lifted her small body from the box and got her tiny paws under her before she fully put her weight on them. Sighing, she tilted her head up towards the sun and as she was walking forward, she crashed onto her muzzle. She had forgotten that there was the wall of the crate right in front of her, so she ran into it causing she and it to fall.
She got to her feet again quickly, but she had a small trail of blood coming down the side of her tiny muzzle. She tried licking her muzzle, but her tongue did not quite reach where she wanted it to go. Finally after trying for far too long, she gave up. She decided to go see if there was any other dogs in the nearby area, but she knew that there probably wasn't for a few blocks. The George Washinton Bridge, where the pack had their main camp was a few blocks away, but she wasn't sure if she wanted to go that far. But she couldn't go out and look for just any dogs, because she had been specifically told that it was one of the worst things that you could do; talk, even let an outsider see you.
Suddenly she heard a noise behind her. Tiny paws moving fast instantly, she ran as fast as she could while sticking to only the areas of the alleys that were shrouded in the early morning mist, and by shadows. Although she couldn't know for sure that it was another dog, she didn't want to take any chances. She still didn't know if it was the same showing yourself to any other animal besides other dogs, but she figured that the only purpose they would serve is as prey for the older dogs, so those it wouldn't matter if they saw you or not. She didn't stop running until she was sure they were not in pursuit of her, and then she allowed herself to sit down. I'm going to go find others in the pack. she thought to herself, and she stood up and defiantly began walking towards the George Washington Bridge.
goodbye cs <3
thanks for everything!

Demetri|Male|Startled|Talking to: Bruce
When someone spoke to the distracted brute it caused him to slip and tumble to the ground. His eyes widened in shock and a growl nearly pushed past his teeth. He hated when others did that, came up behind you to randomly ask a question or say something. Oh wait, I asked a question. Hehe. Straighting himself up he stood slowly and calmly, showing obvious respect to the alpha. Before Demetri even spoke he gave a bow of his head. He had never been one to disrespect Bruce, the dog had taken him in and given him a home. Demetri still remembered that day, Bruce had shown up. Confident and collected in his own being as he gazed down at the trembling, fearful Demetri. He also remembered Siren, standing only a few steps behind, staring in her own pride with her strange yellow eyes. Being honest with himself, the Oracle made him uncomfortable, uneasy, and on edge. But Bruce, well he was different. Demetri felt comfortable around him. He smiled up at the brute.
For a few silent moments he thought about the alpha's words, he was right. Demetri had been quite stupid to ask such a question. The dog knew exaclty why they couldn't go out, yet he still wished to go. He missed the sun, he missed other dogs who weren't constantly living in the shadows, he missed herding with his brothers. Not his sister, no. Not with her. Taking a sigh, he nodded his head to acknowledge the alpha's words. "I know, I just wish we could go out from time to time. I understand your explanation though." He pipped up. Okay, so that was a lie. He hadn't a clue about the alpha's words and they confused him. But he surely wouldn't go ask someone else!
