Spirit claws Riverstar's eyes. "Lemme Go! Are You a Fox? FOX!!!" Spirit yowled. Gingertail took Spirit. "Settle Down Young Kit" she whispered, licking Spirit softly. Spirit cuddled close to Gingertail and purred. Then she bolted, running straight into the forest. Spirit got to a small hole and clambered in. It was a fox nest. A Fox Cub pulled on her tail. The mother nudged Spirit, then let out a warning growl. It picked her up and shoved it in with her cubs, as if she was her own.

Midnightleaf looked after Sandpaw a worried look in his eyes, they walked into camp with Snakeclaw's body and placed him in the middle of camp, he gave a sorrowful look to Riverstar then raced out of camp after Sandpaw, "Sandpaw!" he yowled, he was worried at what the promise would be.

Sandpaw sented the fox and tracked it to a borrow. "Spirit?" SaNDPAW asked. A fox jumped out and grabbed sandpaw, but it wasn't a bite it was more of a carry and it was brought into the den with the cubs and spirit. "AHHH! Get me out of here!" She tried to get out but the fox blocked her way. She kept yelling, maybe Midnightleaf will come, she thought. So she kept yelling.

Midnightleaf heard yowling, Sandpaw! He sprinted toward the sound and scent and found the fox den, his fur bristled, "Sandpaw" he hissed down in calling, he wrinkled his nose at the strong scent of fox.

Sandpaw knew who that fox was and she lured it out with one of her cubs. WHen the mother came out Sandpaw lunged at its throught and ripped it out, killing it instantly. She grabbed Spirit and the cubs and ran back to camp.
