Sky High Role Play (In need of male characters!!!)

Amber: I looked down sadly, gosh, why couldn't he have faith in himself?. Jetwind stood and jumped into my lap, curling up. "It's alright Amber" she meowed

((Calvin to Allen and Zia))

To give Violet time to think, Calvin turned around to introduce himself to the boy who had chimed in earlier to his poll about cats.  Allen had been fairly quiet since then, only chatting a bit with the girl who had recently come to sit next to him.  Calvin had heard them introduce themselves to each other a few minutes ago, so he already knew their names, Allen and Zia, but he didn't want to seem presumptuous.

He smiled at them first and then shoved his hand at the boy with the pale, almost silver hair and delicate features.  "Hi!  I'm Calvin Hershey," and with an exaggerated groan, he added, "And yes, I've heard it all... 'Are you milky or dark?  Sorry, I prefer thin bars to chunky bars.'  And, as you can imagine, lots of nut references... 'Do you have crunchy nuts?  How many nuts do you have? Are you nutty or plain?'  Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.  There's probably nothing you could say that I haven't heard already.  Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for answering my poll, and to introduce myself!  

He smiled at them again, but his gaze settled on the very pretty Zia.  She had brown hair, full lips, and penetrating hazel eyes that made him strangely uncomfortable.  He gulped, feeling suddenly self-conscious, which was very atypical of him.

Zia smiled. She liked this kid. He was energetic and funny, kind of like her. "My name is Zia. Or Z. Or whatever you like. I'll respond to most anything." she smiled again and bounced up and down. "Are you as excited as I am? I'm so excited!!!!"

Luke put his face into his hands and hoped they would get to school soon.

(Luke and Zia are on! And Blackrose. Also update! I attempted to link all the character names to the page with their first post on it, please tell me if anything is wrong! Also we now have a girl freshman open because someone had to drop out due to personal reasons. So there is one boy and one girl open!!!)

In the corner of her eye she could see her ferret run to the back of the bus

Amber: I sighed, -I guess I won't make any friends in this school either- I thought sadly. I reached down and pet Jet "You know Jet, I'm glad you came"

Oh. He doesn't want to talk to me.
Violet was dissapointed that she had let a conversation end so quickly. Calvin seemed to have forgotten her, and so she sat idly, observing the steady flow of kids entering the bus.I'm always the wallflower, she complained inwardly. I wish I was more outoging, like all those girls. They don't seem to have any trouble making friends. Violet slumped against the seat slightly, letting the stiff back of the chair push her neck into an awkward position. Boredom slowly crept into her, like a small but persistent fly, buzzing at her ears. She watched the rain pelting the ouside of the bus windows, and how the droplets obscured her view of everything outside the bus, like a painting. Blowing a strand of hair out of her face, she pushed herself into an upright position. She turned towards the other teenagers, deciding to at least pretend like she was part of their conversation.

"Z. I like that. You can call me Cal if you want, or Hershey Bar," he grinned. "Um.. yeah, I guess so. I was a bit nervous earlier, but since I haven't gotten mind-bombed or death-rayed since I've been on board I think I've kinda relaxed about it. I'm looking forward to it now," he said, smiling at her again. "Violet here...," and he turned to include her in their discussion, "is picking out a superhero name for me. You wanna get in on it? We can all pick one for each other!"

Then Calvin realized just how stupid he was. They were gonna need to know his power!

She sighed softly listening to the conversation, she felt left out like she usually did. She turned her head to the back of the bus wondering where her ferret was
