yeah, the movie was good, just wasn't amazing like all the hype made it seem.
"You shout it out,
But I can't hear a word you say
I'm talking loud not saying much
I'm criticized but all your bullets ricochet
You shoot me down, but I get up
I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose
Fire away, fire away
Ricochet, you take your aim
Fire away, fire away
You shoot me down but I won't fall
I am titanium"

The camera work was sloppy, many very important parts were left out (the mutts looking like dead tributes, peeta loosing a leg, the red haired avox girl, madge ect), they didn't give an emotional feel with the characters, like how Rue reminded Katniss of Prim made her death seem so much sadder, the battle scenes were awful, Katniss looked like she had no idea what she was doing in a forest (what ever happened to skilled hunter?) and overall it seemed pretty much disappointing. The actors though I thought did really good, so there is a plus. But honestly, I'm glad the director who made the move won't be making the sequel, and since he left out so many important parts in the plot it will probably be hard for the new director to pick up from that.
I cant help but say that i dont agree with you guys, the camera crew worked really well and i loved the jolting sensation you felt at times.ive finished reading the third book and i heard a rumor that next year there will be a sequel, right ? Im not sure so im just asking... I cant help but feel that there is something missing to the very end of the trilogy and i feel empty, funny... What do you guys think of that?
I agree that they left out too many important parts but I thought it was still good. When did the director quit? I didn't hear about that

I have yet to see the movie but I heard that they do not follow the part of which Madge is the one who gives her the pin. Katniss buys it at the black market I am pretty sure. That takes away a major part from the story. So I would agree how the movie doesn't follow the book. But in their defense, movies don't typically follow the book, to save time.

Correct, movie's never follow the exact plot of the book. But not including Madge giving Katniss the pin defeats the purpose of the pin. I loved the movie, but them leaving Madge out was a big mistake. In my opinion.

I absolutely love everything about THG except for the shaky camera. The political references have kept my mind going even after reading the series all the way through for the fourth time. It's also cool how Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence are from Kentucky and district 12 is said to be around the mountains.

I agree about Madge, and the shakey camera but I thought the rest of it was great! I'm a little scared that someone new is going to direct CF, because Gary Ross followed the book so well, and I don't want the next movies to be like Percy Jackson (that is to say, with so many plot changes it's unrecognizable)

I agree. I wonder what the actors think of this. Pff, I wish my cousin's girlfriend and Jennifer Lawrence were still in contact, because then I'd know.

Allons-y!
