::Brynth, smart and solitary::
::Name::
Brynth
::Gender::
Male
::Personality::
Brynth is a quiet but fiery young Shionnix. He seldom uses words unless they're really needed and sociality is foreign to him, though he does care dearly about his friends. He is smart and kind, sure, but he lacks in strength and agility, though he shines both in battle and everyday life. He can be merciless to enemies and friends alike, making him a dangerous adversary, and he never, ever gives up. His eyesight and hearing are sharper than normal, which helps make up for his utter lack of physical power. When Brynth does speak, though, his words are powerful and moving, and he knows how to play them right.Shy. Brynth never had a desire to be in the spotlight at all. He isn't one to speak up often, and he relies too much on his friends for help. He prefers to explore and find out things for himself rather than ask anybody, even if someone is near. Brynth doesn't like to be noticed unless he need be.
Intelligent. Brynth prides himself on being a strategist if nothing else. He has a quick mind and and sharp eyes. Even with all his ideas and plans, Brynth s still afraid to speak up. He wants to be accepted, and believes that if he stands out too much he'll be considered a freak instead of a friendly Shionnix.
Weak. This isn't so much an attribute of Brynth's as his own mind-set. Brynth knows that he is physically weak, but where he makes his biggest mistake is thinking that he is weak of spirit, weak of mind. Brynth possesses great courage and ambition, but he's locked it up inside himself out of fear.
Solitary. Friends might mean the world to Brynth, but only because of the protection and comfort they bring. IN friendship, Brynth only receives and doesn't give, though he has plenty of generosity. It's because he doesn't really understand the meaning of friendship, of laughter and love.
::History::
On a clear winter morning, a Shionnix who had been hunting discovered an egg, hidden in a bird's nest halfway up an old tree. He had been clawing around, looking for vermin to eat, when suddenly his nose hit something hard. Jerking back in surprise, the Shionnix soon discovered it to be a small egg, which he took home, calling for a mother.
She was found fifty yards away, having been killed by an unknown predator. The Shionnix knew that she'd hidden her egg as one last act to help save her unborn son.
The egg was hours away from hatching, and when it did, an uncommonly small, ruffled, and frightened male Shionnix fell out of the egg's shell.
Throughout the years, the Shionnix raised the orphan Brynth as his own son. He was slightly worried, as he'd never been good with pups (kits? not really sure). So Brynth grew up like a scholar, trained to be polite and clever and absorbed in his work. His foster father kept him away from society and Brynth enjoyed it.
Until one day when Brynth's foster parent fell ill and Brynth had to hunt himself. He wasn't worried; he knew how to hunt perfectly fine. Nearly full grown by then, he spread his wings and circled the island where he and his "father" lived, loving the way the wind slid through his feathers.
After a few hours, Brynth was worried. There was no prey in sight. He decided that he would try one of the larger islands.
Landing briefly, Brynth shook the dew out of his wings and rested a moment, looking up at the sky. Its pale, cold blue was punctured by small figures of other Shionnix. Brynth had been kept away from society all his life.
He flew around the island and watched them for a while, trying to summon the courage to ask them for help. But finally he had to admit defeat. Turning in a slow arc, he headed home.
The first thing he noticed was the cold emptiness of the room. Then the scattered moss of his foster father's empty bed. Brynth's heart began to pound, and it sank to the pit of his stomach. "Please, no..." he whispered, tears beginning to form at the corners of his eyes. He knew it was no use. Whatever had motivated his foster father to leave the den didn't matter- if the freezing cold hadn't killed him, some predator would have gotten to him. Sobbing bitterly, Brynth sank to the ground. He was alone.

Peace & quiet, music, flying, being accepted for who he is.

Flirting, rain, underground, being lost...
::One thing about Shionnix::
Shionnix live to be around 150-200 years old.
::Why I want him <33::
Shionnix are a beautiful species, and I love this design... I'm sorry I didn't find the time to finish the art I made of Brynth, but if I win him there will be much, much more <333 I truly love this Shionnix and I would be ever so grateful if you gave him to me <333 I also consider Brynth's personality a fun one to be able to roleplay, if you do start a roleplay. His sociality problems and good intentions make him a very unique character. I do love him already <3333
I know that my form may not be the best, but I want you to consider my passion for Brynth in addition to my writing. Thank you for giving me this wonderful opportunity to win this amazing character. <333
