‡ Sorina Voras ‡
Sorina waited patiently on Gaenor's back, impressed with the speed and grace Aden climbed with. He was certainly no amatuer. She glanced at the raven -- Hugin, she believed its name was - as he cawed down at the dark elf. Perhaps it was just because he was named after an ancient god that only existed in her books, but it seemed as though he was more than just an ordinary bird. Surely, though, it must be her imagination.
Sorina patted Gaenor's back with reassurance as he began to voice his opinions about the Aden's origin again.
'Just stay calm.' she told him, smiling to herself. Gaenor's wings stretched experimentally, testing the winds, when Aden finally climbed onto his back. Sorina grinned back at Aden in anticipation. "Gentle?" The mage laughed, shaking her head in amusement. "Aden, Gaenor is never gentle! He flies how he wants to, so hang on to whatever you've got!" Gaenor snorted a burst of flame in agreement and pushed off the roof of the tower in a sudden burst, lunging into the sky without any restrictions. Sorina laughed again and hugged her body to the dragon's neck, looking down as they left the earth behind them.
"Fast as you can to the stonehenge, Gaenor! I have a feeling we're already late!"
Perhaps, since Aden was a first-time ride, Sorina shouldn't have said that. Gaenor knew that if the dark elf really did fall off and possibly die, Sorina would scold him for an exaggerated amount of weeks. It was no scale off his back, but his rider cared, and he had to take that into account. But now that she gave express permission, Gaenor readily increased his speed and the three of them, plus the raven, flew to the Peace Ceremony.

I've been dumped a boatload of work to do before college, so I will post when I can. Life is my nemesis.
'Tis the season! Here, a lovely song in commemoration of the holidays:
