[center][center]Kori Lynn sighed softly as she looked at the empy apartment she was leaving behind. She felt a tear escape her eye and she wiped it away with disgust. She wasn't weak. This wasn't a reason to cry she decided. In one liquid movement she spun around and left the small apartment. She smiled when she was outside in the rain. "I'll miss the rain," she said softly to herself while she waited for the taxi.

When the taxi arrived Kori placed her two bags in the trunk and entered the vehicle. "Airport please," Kori said politely to the cab driver. The driver grunted and mumbled something inaudible to Kori. With a shrug Kori sat back in the seat and slipped her headphones in. She watched her surroundings change as the driver drove to the airport. This is it. I'm leaving here... Finally. She thought to herself.

After twenty-five minutes of sitting in the cab she was finally at the airport. "Thank you sir," Kori said as she handed the man the money. She exited the cab and grabbed her bags. Slowly she walked into the airport and checked everything. Kori had one headphone in the whole time she waited for the plane to be ready to board. Once her flight was called she took a deep breath and boarded the plane. As soon as the plane took off she began to feel a little nervous. She had never been on a plane before and it was a long flight over the ocean. All those stories of plane crashes she read about seemed to become reality and they began to scare her. Eventually all those worries faded away and she slept through most of the plane ride.

Mariah's alarm started to go off. The worst sound in the world to her. She dreaded hearing that gosh darn music EVERY MORNING. She crawled out of bed and walked to her vanity. She picked up her brush, letting it run through her medium-length thin hair. After that, she slid her glasses on, throwing on her Navy sweatshirt & a pair of dark blue sweat pants. She grabbed her bags & made her way down the stairs.

She sighed and went to go and look around her new area. She had just gotten there and felt like since there was nothing to do, she should might as well have some fun looking around the place and seeing who she could meet. This should be fun. She said with a nodded wondering where she should go first. She was so excited to be there and away from her over protective parents who were really never there for her.
