I don't believe in picking "teams" because I despise Twilight and it seems too much like you're lowering the Hunger Games to that level. It's a story about oppression, war, survival and sacrifice, not just angsty teenage love. I believe it was Katniss's choice, and she chose who she wanted (now I sound weird because I'm referring to them as if they were real people, lol). But honestly, if you want my opinion, I think Suzanne Collins said it best:

I saw the movie, but my extremely-team-Gale friend sitting next to me groaned at all the kissing scenes, went "Awww!" whenever they showed Gale looking sad, and leaned over to me about halfway through the film and whispered "PRESIDENT SNOW LOOKS LIKE SANTA!". But we had a good time nonetheless

When rue died 2 of my friends cried like crazy!
And then when the dog things popped out my other friend screamed at the top of her lungs! Lol!
I went the first time with just 1 friend and the second with 5 other friends!
I had a great time going. For me it was better the first time though. If we had all gone together for the first time seeing it it would have been a lot funner!

I don't usually cry at movies, but poor Rue had me bawling my eyes out. The two friends I went with were giving me strange looks, but I just couldn't handle it, especially with Katniss singing the Meadow song...

I was trying to hold back tears at Rue's death:'( it was so sad. The only time I cried in the books was when Peeta was hijacked and the end of Mockingjay. I didn't cry at Rue's death in the book but when Jennifer and Amandla brought the scene to life it made me bawl:'(

And when the mutts jumped out I jumped sooo highXD

I had tears in my eyes at Rue's death, but they didnt spill. I was trying REALLY hard not to bust out crying like a baby, because nobody else was.
