Swampert shrugged. "I d-" He said, but was cut off.

Mckenna returned Swampert to his ball. "Return, Swampert." She said, attaching his ball to her belt.

Spirit blinked, suprised by Swamperts sudden return. Left without an answer, Spirit decided she'd try offering Mckenna a ride, but that if Mckenna still didn't understand that she'd go on her way and leave Mckenna to find the city herself. Spirit chirped, getting Mckenna's attention, then waddled up to her on her hind legs. She laid down in front of Mckenna, and again, pointed her nose at Mckenna, touched it to her back, then waited patiently for Mckenna's response.

Mckenna looked at Spirit and walked over to her, bending down. "What is it?" She asked, placing a hand on Spirit's back, smiling lightly.

Spirit got excited when Mckenna came over and gently, she nudged Mckenna's backside, pushing Mckenna to her back encouragingly.

Mckenna sat on Spirit's back, a little confused. "Huh?" She mumbled and put her hand on Spirit's neck.

Spirit waited nervously as Mckenna got on, then looked back at her to make sure she was on okay.
She nodded to Mckenna, then started to beat her wings, rising into the air. When she was a few feet off the ground she looked back at Mckenna again to make sure she was still alright.

Mckenna looked over the side of Spirit. "Oh. . ." She mumbled and looked at Spirit, smiling.

Spirit kept rising until she got above the tree tops, then pumped her wings harder and started to move forward, gaining more and more speed. She was careful not to go to fast and make Mckenna uncomfortable, but went just fast enough so that it would be fun for her. They gor high enough into the air that they could see the city on the horizon, and Spirit looked at Mckenna as she was flying then pointed to the city.

Mckenna felt the wind on her face and giggled. She looked upwards towards the town. "Sweet! Mauville is so close!"
