John protested as he was drug out of the store. " How can you just let that go? Why did you stop me? She deserves it!"

" i know, i know. i just- i can't get us kicked out of the store. i don't want to make a scene." i say. i look down at reagan who was still sleeping through the screams and hollars. i look up at johns face, wich looked furious." i'm sorry." i whisper.

John shook his head, in disatisfaction to himself. " I-I am the one to be sorry, forgive me I have to be going home. I left my car at the diner, which isn't far from here".

" you have nothing to be sorry for, john." i shyly smile. " well, if you do have to go, do you want a ride? i'm pretty sure tania wouldn't mind." i say. why was he apologizing? he had nothing to be sorry for. i was the one who screwed things up, for me and for everyone.

John shook his head, " I'd rather walk, I need to clear my head. To many emotions for one day, I am not used to things like this".

" oh, okay." i say. geese, i cause alot of drama, don't i?" um, i guess i'll see you later? have a safe walk home."

John nodded, " Call me later tonight, okay?" He handed er a small peice of paper with his number on it. " I have to find that cousin of mine, Thomas anyway".

" okay." i nodded with a smile." bye!" i wave bye to him andsmile. i shove the flimsy white paper into my front pocket. i un-strap reagan and gently put her in the carseat. i turn around and hollar," be safe!" i turn back around and strap reagan back in. i get into the car and we drive off." so, that john kid. he seems nice." says tania." yea." i softly say. i stare out of my car window and look at the sky." i think he'd make a great guy for you, you know?" tania says, nudging me with her elbo." i turn my attention to her and make a face." he's a great friend tania, but i don't know if he'd be interested anyway. plus, it's to fast. we just met like, yesterday."i say. she nods and focusses back on the road.

John began the walk to the cafe, stuffing his hands in his pockets. He sighed softly, wondering why he had ran off so soon.

i take out my phone and grab per. i scan the numbers and type them into my phone. i see the last digit and type it in. i save it, type johns name in, and shove my phone back into my pocket. i wonder why he left so fast. his cousin probably needed him, or he wanted to visit other friends. he isn't yours, so why do you want him to stay longer? maybe i scared him off with all the yelling and the shameful stares people were giving us. the engine cuts off and i snap back into reality. tania and i open our doors in unisin andshut them. she grabs the groceries and i grab reagan and we all go inside. i pat reagans back gently to get her up, but all i get is a burp. i smile and laugh softly. i gently set her in her crib and pull the wooden bars down. i lift her shirt and press my lips against her stomache. i blow air onto it and it makes a weird noise. reagan wakes up by screams of laughter. i laugh and say," good morning, sleepy head." she smiles and babbles a few things. i smile and i put the bars back up. she whines, wanting to go into the living room." okay." i gave in. i picked her up and press her against my chest as i take her to the living room. i set her in her baby chair and let her play with her giraffe and her pink fuzzy bear. her giggles echo through the house. i smile and go to the kitchen to unload our groceries from before.
