Peachflower sighed as Shadowclaw raced out into the forest. Shadowclaw and Toadheart had been good friends before and Shadowclaw had the right to be worried.

Berrypaw stayed by her fathers side, wanting to go see what was going on, but not having the willpower to. Her father had nearly died last time she left, she couldn't let that happen again. She needed to protect him. Still, curiosity and worry nagged at her. Was Toadheart okay? She had only met I'm briefly, but he seemed nice enough. She wanted to know more. "Peachflower?" she called softly, not knowing if she was still in the den.
Rainheart began to stir, consciousness returning to him. He was dimly aware of Berrypaw laying by his side, and was grateful for her warmth
