Jake gave a small sigh. In front of him laid a blood trail, leading into the darkness of the halls. He felt a slight push as the girl moved past him. She was a little different from all the other socially trapped teens here. Though, he seemed to like it. Jake walked a little faster, more anxious to catch up to the girl. "Well, all wounded go to the medical room. But, she could be in the surgery room, which is right across the hall. The door has a pad-lock, so if she is there we won't be able to get in."

Jake looked toward Shawn, who has been speechless the whole time. Was he stunned about Grace? Maybe Shawn really did love her. Jake looked back at the ground, following the blood. His feet moved in a pattern. One, Two. One, Two. His eyes darted up, looking at Elizabeth. We'll get there. We will save Grace. He won't let her die.


{I am asking of a quick question. I don't mean to advertise on your RPG, but I just was asking of an opinion. If I were to make a RPG, what plot would be more suitable?

A small group of orphans are set out stranded in the streets of a lone city when their orphanage ran out of business. Will they survive?

The world has turned into three huge regions, each trying to kill the other. When their anger toward others went overboard, they destroyed the world. With some luck you and a few others lived, but will you survive the challenges you face ahead?

Sleep is easy to get to, unless you feel like she did. When Alec spoke her once closed eyes fluttered open from what seemed forever in her world, and with a soft intake of breath she turned to him her eyes landing on his face as he spoke. Her mouth opened with a slow draw, but without knowing he soon was over her his eyes of fire. She would have liked this if Alec was not almost snarling at her with his lips curled madly upward, and his eyes of fire like burning though him. This included the weight on her damaged hip that already was sent though a toss down the waterfall and right now more weight was not something it needed. She whinced softly her voice caught as she bent her head away her voice coming in a soft calming one ,hoping to temper Alec. "I..don't want you to know because I care about you," she told him her eyes closing in a moment after as if letting him do what was wished then.
Suddenly, a scream sounded her eyes jerking upward again at the know blinking Alec who was looking almost freaked out about something. She listened to him speak out about his words spoken, actions done, and in the end if he hurt her in anyway as well as kissing her gently on her neck. The kiss calmed her raging fire as if when he suddenly went raging on her the fire itself was burning her inside and out from unknown causes, and when she did spoke it was a bit worn though fine. "No you didn't hurt me. Alec, what you did there I don't care. Whatever you do will not change what I feel for you, and you may be able to kill me with fire even in rage, but I will not ever be mad. I care about you, and I forgive anything." She said with another bold step of wrapping her arms around him and hugging him tightly. "Though, do you wish for me to tell you of the fear I have tonight?" she asked pullign her head away a few moments later her eyes borign deep into his own with unknown emotions.

[Stupid post I think. Out of it a bit sorry. My legs are killing me, and I am having a hard time focusing even with my music blaring, so forgive miss-spells or anything that sounds off. Thats for the great post Blackie. I loved it above, it made it all worth the wait. (:]

{ Kess - I know, I'm sorry. 3: None of my characters are really in the position to get to her, Alec is with Lulu and can't really move much. Liz and Shawn are inside trying to find Grace.
Snow - Second for sure. I like the sound of having to work with the plot of war and kids/teens/adults having to try and live. Sounds fun, I might try and join. xD
Abs - I like the post, kind of confusing, but its cool. :3 }

She doesn't mean it, she can't. There is no way that she could ever mean that. Alec felt her arms around him, and he eased the pressure off her hip only just now realizing he was leaning on her. He didn't move otherwise, not even when she pulled away again and asked about the fear she had. Still he didn't move, his eyes weren't even really looking at her. They were watching her eyes, yes, he knew that she was staring at him, but that didn't mean he'd react to it. He was still afraid that he might snap again and go back to the mad and slightly crazed Alec. The one from the night so long ago. The one created by the labs. The one who killed his sister, who got power hungry and loved to watch people in pain. If Lew ever found out the extent of that personality swap-
"I've got some to tell you as well. How about we wait? Till morning?" He finally slipped an arm around her shoulders, pulling her head up a little bit while doing so. "I'd rather not have us both freaked tonight. We need rest more then anything." The words were rather husky again, and Alec didn't even try clearing his throat or to explain why he wanted to wait suddenly. It'd be better if they waited to tell each other what they were frightened about. He was scared the flip side to him might slip out again since he was this tired. It normally did when he was exausted, though it only seemed to stay for split seconds at a time.
Alec waited for her answer, and suddenly words again spilled from his mouth. He swore that he'd never ever talked this much. Ever. In his whole life, talking had never come easily for him. "Can I call you Lew? I feel like I'm repeating myself when I say Lulu, but if you'd rather me not, thats fine too. . ." He was still holding back, refusing to let himself kiss her again until she agreed to everything he'd just said, or disagreed, whichever was best for her. His free hand came up though, as if it had a mind of itself, and softly, carefully, his index finger traced the outline of her lips, going in swirls up to her eyes and softly tracing her brows and then barely touching skin he outlined her eyes with his finger tips. When he stopped, four of his finger tips rested on her cheek bone, desire flaring up inside of him again. He shifted uncomfortably above her, conscious now of how close they were.

He'd been trailing behind the two, sulking in his bad mood. Everyone was against him on this, and he couldn't even pull himself together enough to help Grace. He'd be more help trying to stake out someone else to help them. So there may be a padlock on a door, did that really matter? Couldn't someone pick-lock it and just be all Gansta like and bust open the door? It seemed simple enough to him. He should be there for her though, to try and help her out while she could be hurt.
Shawn remembered her wanted to escape. If they got her out of that room, then he'd run off and try to escape. Just the two of them. He didn't care who followed or tried to stop them. If they made it, then they could sort things out, couldn't they? He knew he had feelings for the white-blond girl, but how deep did they really go? Did he actually like this girl? Maybe even a little more emotion then 'like'? His mind was forcing him away from the stronger, much more emotional word of Like. He couldn't get himself to even think of the word love. To him, people didn't just throw that word around. You said it as you meant it, if you tossed that word out there carelessly, someone could get hurt. And post the time that someone turned out to be yourself.
Deciding to stay for Grace, Shawn hurried to catch up with Jake and Elizabeth. He wasn't sure what was between them, and he didn't really want to try and figure it out too. He'd had enough of thinking things through for a while now.

A laugh burst from between her lips. A padlock? Really? That was what he was worried about? "You're kidding me. You think a freakin' padlock is going to stop healing hands? If I punched a wall, kicked a door in, stuck a hand in flames, you think I wouldn't be able to take out a little chunk of metal?" At the end of her words, she grew quieter though. Her energy was already wearing thin, so unless little Jake here could do something about this 'chunk of metal' she wouldn't be moving very far if she had to heal Grace too. Deffinetally not far enough away to keep them two from seeing her scream in pain.
She couldn't stop from wincing, if they were this worried about Grace, she didn't want them hunting her down for being in pain. Then again, she didn't know how bad the girl really was. "How bad is she?" Liz glanced over her shoulder to Jake, completely ignoring the form of Shawn hurrying to catch up with them. She knew he had caused this, that much was sure. If she was bad, then Shawn was to blame. And blame him she would.

Jake shook his head as an objection. Even if they were able to break down the steel door, it could trigger something, such as a trap. A smile appeared across his face. This mighty Elizabeth thinks she is so strong? Even if she was, it wouldn't do. "That may be so. You may be able to do all those things, but we have to find another way. We can't go barging through. Those scientists will be at our buts if we do. But, we could hack it. I've seen many enter that door, practically showing me the code as they open it." Jake then whipped his smile off his face. Why was he smiling at all? A girl, an innocent girl, is about to die.

They continued to walk even further. Silence came across them. These halls seemed endless, as if they were an illusion to their minds. Shawn's footsteps echoed through the halls as he managed to catch up to them. When Liz spoke, Jake shivered. How bad was she? He clentched his teeth, the memory of her blood came back to him. Her pale white cheeks contained streaks of tears as she cried with pain. Jake closed his eyes tightly, trying to erase the memory. With no success, he opened his eyes and looked at Liz. "We will find out shortly"

The blood trail ended, leading them to a door. It had a pad-lock, like he said, but there was no need to worry. The door was open, but what was on the door made Jake swallow. Stained with red was the print of a hand. A soft, delicate hand that belonged to little Grace. Jake clenched his fist as if he felt all the pain that happened in this room. Every day he would come and watch. Watch people die gruesomely. They would scream as their surgeons barely tried to save them from their injuries. What did it matter to them, though. They could just make another child with the power. Jake growled, imagining all the things they did to Grace. He ran into the room, looking for the sweet girl. Nothing. Instead was a table. The same table that must of had Grace's body on it. The sheets were covered with blood, it had even stained the metal below it.

They took her. They took Grace's life away! Jake growled with anger. The only time he had a chance to save her and he didn't. There was a chance. It was very small, but there is a chance that she is not dead. She could be resting in her bed, awaiting their arrival. It was unlikely, though. Jake's eyes darted toward Shawn. This guy seemed as if he loved her. It wandered how much he could take. Some people would go crazy, especially in tragedies like this.

Elizabeth

The way he said it sent chills down her spine. If he didn't want to admit how badly she was hurt, then it had to be bad. Very bad. Elizabeth clutched her arms around her as they approached the open door. The boy ran inside with a low growl, and she followed very slowly behind him. If she was hurt too badly she might not be able to do anything. Take her place maybe, she'd done that before with a few minor wounds people got. Could she heal Grace if she was near death? Liz wasn't sure she liked the options coming to mind, so she forced her eyes back to Jake. He was growling again, this time he seemed a whole lot more mad.
Walking up behind him, she saw all the blood and gaped at the site. Her eyes blurred for half a second, trying to focuse on anything but that smell. . . One hand flew out and rested on Jake's shoulder. She was thoroughly freaked now. That girl, Grace, she couldn't be that bad, could she? "Um- Um, S-should we go look in her-her room?" Liz stuttered, something she rarely did, even when faced with her healing task. Her hand slide off his body as her eyes stopped their maddening dance around the room. If she needed healing, then Liz was going to have to heal her. Simple as that.

With his shoulders slumped low and his hands stuck in his pockets, Shawn was keeping his eyes low to keep from watching the two. It was hard for him to get the thoughts of her out of his head. Snarling in his face, poised to rip his head off his shoulders. . . Blood coming from her delicate female body, ice encasing parts of her. All because of what he'd done. One didn't simply stop something by forcing an ice-shard into a Snow Leopards chest. Not one the animal could turn back into a human and wallow in pain. It ate at his thoughts and made him feel guilty and shallow. He'd chosen to hurt a woman rather then let himself get killed. That wasn't exactly too horribly terrible, now was it? It was if that same girl was now probably dead.
Shawn felt his hands shake in his pockets, and his whole body felt chilled to the bone. It was probably just from the ice, but he knew better. The ice wouldn't be leaving him with a cold feeling. He wanted to swap places with her now, to be the one in pain and bleeding rather then the one who had to find said person. Trying to find Grace didn't leave him much time to try and think of what would happen to himself. The thought that he might have killed the girl made him sad and filled him with grief. The only thing that stopped his mind in its tracks was watching the two of them. They were just standing there. Was that all they could do? Stand there and try to think of something else?
He himself was standing in the doorway, so it was easy for him to turn and duck back into the hall. If they wanted to sit around like complete moron's awaiting guard to arrive, so be it, but he wasn't going to sit there any longer. Grace could be anywhere, and Shawn was going to find her. They could come if they wanted to or not.

Her eyes still bored into his own as he stared down deep into her own with slight onlooking as if he wasn't really looking at her, but into her soul. The soft glowing fire rose up to her chest again its flame licking at the ends of her bones as it also burned her skin as if dieing to be free to lean into Alec. She didn't make notice of it as Alec began to spoke again his voice slightly husky, and as well to her soft to her ears seeming to be strange as if he could snap. She wanted to reasure him, but she held back.
"Of course. I would like that better as well," she told him her own voice tired worn, and really questioned as if her own words went against herself. She knew it was better to wait till the morning when Alec was rested, full headed, and not so tired it might be he was sleepwalking on the edge. Her too. Then again Alec spoke out his voice questioned again his eyes turning to her own with a slight glowing in his pupils that made him almost look in the night to be like a cat. She held back a giggle, but responded all the same. "Sure. I like it. I sounds cute, and it makes me wish I could make one for you. Just us," she said letting go of a quiet laugh that came from her chest as her body began to drift into sleep on the ground. Though, just as she began to slip off her eyes barely peeked open to see Alec tracing her face gently with his index finger as she layed. He was so gentle as he ran his finger along her lips making slight tingles along the skin, his finger tracing her evermore tired sea blue eyes of rain glass, before finally stopping at her cheek bone near her jaw where four fingers of soft gentle heat came from into her body. "Alec," she voiced out of her lips softly before her breathing softly went down to sleep and into her dreams.
