Oakcloud padded into the nursery."You'll be looking after me when I'm in my 60's," she purred."All I care about is warm moss, not who's leader or deputy."

" Oh.. " Icekit mumered, looking at Oakcloud. " Ill change your moss for you when im a appprentice then! " She purred, swishing her tail.

Oakcloud purred."I wouldn't have to worry about moss if I weren't injured," she said.

"i'd like to live long enough to become an elder." JaggerClaw thought about when she was young. After the badger attack, she always asked her if she thought they would change her name from Jagger to cloud. Her mother said no, but her father said when she was an elder they might change her name to CloudEye, refering to her clouded blind blue eyes

Icekit padded away from her spot in the corner, next to Timberkit again. " Want to go outside? Its big out there. " She asked him.

"Watch out for the annoying little furballs who get under your paws," said Oakcloud to Jaggerclaw.

"Ok. But it's dark out there." Timberkit mewed. Hawkkit was already chatting with rabbitkit

Shadekit stood up and padded outside, having been listening to the conversation with interest. His legs were wobbly, and he tripped over more than once, but he made it.
