Liv shook her head. "You're the first time
I've trusted anyone in a long time." She saw
someone looking at her and subconsciously
tucked her large wings closer to her body,
although they were probably just staring at
her bulky shirt. "See, this is why I don't go
to public places often. Besides, it feels strange
to not have my wings out, where I can use
them at any time without hesitation."

"I don't go out often, so I can't relate." Aura said.

Liv nodded. "Sooo...where do you and the flock...I
mean, where do we live?" she asked.

"Nowhere, now." Aura said sadly. "Erasers found us. I guess we have to find a new house. Beverly Hills would be nice, but a bit crowded. I say we move somewhere in Utah."

Liv nodded agreeably. "Utah's nice. Maybe Colorado. Some
good mountains to hide in."

"I agree." Aura said. "Mountains are good. We should move after this...adventure, then." She glanced at Charlie. "Should we invite him along with us? To the mountains, I mean." She whispered to Liv.

Liv widened her eyes. "He's an Eraser, for goodness' sakes!
He's more likely to bring the whole army running than live
peaceable with us. Right? I mean, I barely know him, but still."
