Kudo rolled his eyes. "Whatever. Who cares how long you've been out of the box? All that matters is how smart you are and stuff... Do you even want to be a runner?" Kudo asked, raising his eyebrows slightly at her. He was surprised at himself... It was kind of soon to be asking her things like this. Especially something like becoming a Runner... Geez.

Jordan blinked a few times, her brow furrowed. "I, uh, don't know. I want to help, I know that much. I may not remember what I have to get out for, but I do know that I have to get out." She thought for a moment, cocking her head. So far all she knew about herself was that she was cocky, and could come up with come backs quickly. Did that mean she was smart? Or just quick thinking>

Kudo blinked... What had she just said? He sighed. "Listen - ya wanna be a runner or not? Because if you do, then you're hanging with me today and we need to get running and I need to tell you stuff and talk with Kelvin about it. And if you don't,... Well then... You're pretty much wasting my time and I need to get running."

Jordan nodded slowly. "Okay... I guess I can try this out." Maybe the fact that he had almost encouraged her mouthing off was, like, a sign or something. She almost laughed out loud at the thought. A sign, yeah right.

"Alright then. Come with me." He quickly headed towards a small, square metal building with no windows and only one door on it. Basically the Runner Club. At least, that's what Kudo called it in his head. "We've got to get our backpacks and... Daily stuff."

Jordan blinked in surprise and raced after him in long strides. She hadn't expected it to be that easy. "You mean we're going now? Seriously?" A smile creeped it's way onto her face, tugging at teh corners of her lips.

"Yeah. I probably should have waited, but.. Shuck it. I like you, whatever. Today will be a test, I guess." Kudo said as he opened the door with a key and held it open for her. "Go on in there."

Jordan nodded slowly. "Um, okay." She mumbled and stepped through the doorway, her eyes imidiatly searching the room. Probably just instinct. She squinted, trying to make out the setails of the room from what small shaft of light filtered through the doorway.

Kudo pulled a string and the space filled with light, not the brightest, but you could still see everything well. He closed the door. "Okay, so, first off... We need to figure out which show size you wear. And get you running shoes." He turned and nodded towards one corner of the building, where there were some shoe boxes and quite a few different shoe sizes. "Figure out your size and put some on." Then he went over to a small chest on the floor, opening it with the door key and getting her a knife as a weapon and beginning to prepare her backpack.

Jordan nodded once and walked over to the pile of shoe boxes, looking down at her feet. She grabbed a random pair of shoes and tried them on; way too big. So she changed them with a smaller size, repeating the process until she found a pair that fit. Satisfied, she walked back over to Kudo and leaned over his shoulder to see what he was doing. "What will I see that requires being killed with a knife?" She asked slowly, cocking her head.
