I watched "The Land of the Lost Wolves," yesterday (both episodes). It was informative, and looked at the majority of views that people have on wolves (including people so ignorant that it made me cringe). All and all, an interesting programme packed with information for people who do not know about wolves. But, it also had some interesting points for people that do know wolves.
I'd certainly recommend it.

I, SnowthehuskylovesBTR , will dedicate myself to helping wolves have a better future. I swear to give my all in protecting these beautiful creatures, and will help in anyway I can.
i'm not that active... i pop in every now and then out of boredom or nostalgia.
i'm keeping my stuff unless otherwise stated.

It's really not. I'd love to go wolf hunting.
The thing that we need to save wolves from is poachers, not hunters. Hunters don't take very many wolves, it's hard to hunt them - if you're lucky, you can take one. The population isn't threatened by hunters, and sometimes hunting is needed to take care of over population. ^^ Hunting is also a career, wolf pelts fetch quite a bit money - hunting also is often done to support family, whether the people take pleasure in hunting or not. I personally think hunting is very fun.
You don't have to like hunting, but there's nothing wrong with people that do hunt/support it. Agree to disagree.
Hunting isn't something to bash, poaching is.

I would like to point out that America used to be filled with wolves but hunters killed them all off. They are beginning to make a comeback but already some of those have been illegally hunted just for their skin.
I'm sorry but I find it hard to understand what is fun about killing an innocent animal. It's like people who murder for fun, they are concierges sick. A fact is that humans are the only species that kill for pleasure when there is no need for killing.
Sorry for my slow response time on RP's. My new job steals ALL my time. :(

Exactly, poachers cause species to go extinct/come near extinction. Once an animal makes the endangered species list, it is protected, and any people that further hunt it are poachers.
And actually, many animals such as cats, dogs, many bird species, foxes, orca and other porpoises, lions, and hyenas kill for fun/pleasure/no apparent reason.
And you don't have to understand. I'm not sick in the head, I'd appreciate if people stopped claiming that. :/
Finding hunting fun =/= being 'sick', 'disgusting', etc. and if you think so, I'd appreciate you keep your comments to yourself.
It's not the killing itself that is fun, there's many other reason as to why hunting is fun.

The sport and finding the animal itself is fun. And I've never even hunted, but that seems like it would be the fun part.
Cats and dogs have no honor of nature. Besides, they've been raised by humans, so they have no idea how bad that is. My dog kills random moles and leaves them to rot, unless she decides to eat it.
But the other aniamls listed, likely eat it later, or leave it for the other scavengers to eat.
And it decays in the ground anyway, so it is not wasted.

I hardly think the term "innocent" is fitting for a predator that has been known to eat "innocent" animals alive, aka, opening their stomachs and spilling their insides for the prey animal to see. Nor does it suit a predator that has been known to take an animal down, either kill it or leave it on the brink of death simply because they noticed the scent of another prey animal that smelled better.
