Having her fingers and hands shift through his hair almost tickled, and when her hand pressed down the golden locks, he could only watch her eyes. It felt nice though, having someone so close to him. His eyes softly closed, liking the feeling of her hand running down the side of his face. Everything that Lulu did was nice. Excluding the trying to eat him alive part, that wasn't exactly 'nice' or 'pretty' but then again she hadn't tried that again, now had she? The gentleness of her fingers seemed to guide him back to the world, and when he flicked his eyes open he found her looked right at them. That creeped him out enough that he didn't say a word. Freaky, how the human mind could get so caught up in things that it forgot that another human being was still there.
Alec watched her lay down next to him and curl up beside him, all the while not a peep slipped through his mouth. His mind was solely on thoughts of her, and when she finally stopped moving he still didn't say a word. And no, the reason wasn't because her arm was pressing against a hurt rib. He wanted to understand why tears were coming from her delicate looking eyes. Those eyes that he could get lost in if he looked into them for too long. For the first time since he asked her what was wrong, he let his voice out. It escaped first as something short of a whimper, then came the words, laden with worry. "Lew, what could it be that would make you this scared?" Why couldn't she tell him now? What difference would it make! If he was going to worry tomorrow, then he might as well worry now. His mind didn't even register the fact that she wanted him to sleep the night through without worry. And now she was crying too. All because of whatever this was, Alec was sure of that.
It was like his mind swapped personalites with a sharp click, because soon he found himself towering over the girl with auburn hair. His knees were pressed to the dirt beside her hips, and were close enough to her to brush against her clothes. Hands were braced on the dirt next to her neck, the base of the heels and wrist brushing against her shoulders. A fire was dancing in his eyes, and a snarl was tugged his cracked lips into a feirce look. The only place that he really had any weight on, was one knee was resting gently on her hip. There was a rip in the fabric of his jeans, and a bloody gash was visible now.
The grey of his eyes was changed to a dim red, though his body was neither heating up or dancing with flames. When he was angry, he could learn control of his powers.
"Why not just tell me now?!" It came out as a hiss.
He wouldn't have even known what happened if a scream from near-by hadn't driven him from his state of mind. His eyes blinked twice, both rapid movements. "Oh dear lord, tell me this is not happening again," The words were out before he could even think of them, and dropped his head to rest just over her shoulder, forehead pressed firmly against the ground. "Do not believe a word I just said, whatever it was." Alec muttered to her, not moving away from her. The fire had died in his eyes, and he no longer was raging with anger. This had happened before, after he accidently killed his sister. "I knew this would happen, I knew it!" He pressed a soft kiss to the side of her neck, knowing how confused and scared she must be. And frightened at him. Truth be told, sometimes he frightened himself.
"Please, tell me, I didn't hurt you, did I?" He pulled himself together enough to ask, and raised his head to look at her. Maybe this wouldn't be as confusing as he thought it might. Simply tell the truth and it'd all be well, yes? Maybe. . .Hopefully. . .
{ EDIT - That could've probably been about three posts had I wanted to expand it out, but. . .bleh, Alec mood of that wasn't going to be very long. I can edit it if you want to have the anger one after this or something, or even just take that out completely. . .xD }
