"Why does Canada have to be so cold?" Kat complained, hoping her wings didn't ice over if it rained. She sighed, she wasn't made to live in cold temperatures, more or less in an active volcano. That would be a great home for her, much better than flying over the snow capped peaks of Canada.

Rikku stuck her tounge out "I hate them there so ugly" she sighed over jelous of her sisters wings shaking her h ead she soon fell down "plus i can't stay in the air for more then 5 minetes.."

Alia fainted. Her blood...there was so little....

Justin nodded sympathetically at Kat. Now that he was a fire manipulator, he could feel the intense cold even more sharply than he used to. "Look! There!" he said, seeing Alia and a large blue cat. He grabbed Tommy's shoulder and Kat's hand and flew down to the beach. "Tommy, take her," he said, motioning to the wounded and unconcious Alia. He snarled at the cat, wishing desperately he had a sword. "Who are you?" he said, his voice sounding malicious.

Ari and Mayli simply stared at each other for a while, until Ari turned and took Shadow's hand. She knew how Shadow felt about Devin. "Alright?" she asked softly.

I resisted that urge to just let myself burn to death in that lake. I stood up again and bolted for the woods. Alia, I knew would be just fine. After all, that was Devin there, and I knew it. I slowed my pace when I thought I was far enough away.

I rolled my eyes and sighed. "Not this again..."
"I'm Devin! Can you guys not TELL? The whitecoats are hiding behind those trees and are going to come bring me back on my signal. They don't want you, so don't hurt them or they WILL take you. They've only wanted me, and some of you have been taken by accident. Okay? I'm some sort of key which they need, and they treat me well over there. And sure, I'm a 9-foot blue cat thing, but they need me like this, not like the old me. They made a clone of my mixed with some weird DNA. There was another one, but it escaped. I'm in here via mind link. Trust me. Please. If I stay with them they won't hurt any of you... if I stay with them, Alia won't be killed...." I looked down.

And that's an order? Shadow thought, about to open his mouth.
But then something happened- he couldn't open his mouth. He couldn't open his mouth because Ari was kissing him. His eyes widened, and he smiled as she pulled away. Blushing and grinning like a fool, feeling a little dazed, he turned to Justin, "Okay. I'll just... uh stay here."

I frowned. "But I don't want you to be sad. And I can fix it. Sure, it would take some time, but I could fix it. I swear."
