“Following someone you look up to is a good practice. Following your heart and having others follow in your footsteps is even better.”
In full, he's quite slow when it comes to girls. He's had girlfriends, yea yea, but he's not all that smart when it comes to understanding them fully. It took him two years for him to realize his last girlfriend was flirting with him. After the unecassary glare from ginger boy, he stares at Motoko for a moment. Was she flirting in a way? He had no idea of knowing of course, he doesn't know her and unbeknownst to him she could act like this everyday. Still, he wonders. Removing his gaze from the girl, not wanting to scare her or be a creep. He was so terrible at this. He was once told he was the most oblivious male someone had every met. Though that he was a "sweetheart" when dating. Eh, whatever. As he continues to pull this and that for the burgers, he can't help but shout a fairly annoyed glance at Kai every now and then. Honestly, grudges were for children. Or immature adults with nothing better int heir life to do but plan revenge. He has much more important things to do then that. Kai on the other hand was probably to busy finding girls on the street to flirt with, well he wasn't going to get that from Clare, na-uh. Motoko's laugh snaps him out of whatever unpleasent trance he's in, turning to her he tilts his head. "What's so..funny?" He asks, reaching for the bag of fries to move it to the pan. Though her next words make him stop, now his turn to laugh. Infact he covers his mouth to try and hide it. She seemed so genuinly confused by the matter. Placing a delicate hand on her shoulder, he puts the bag on fries in her hands. "You can do it either way. This just so happens to be easier way. We don't exactly have one of the machines to fry them." Squeezing her shoulder gently, he gives her a smile before taking a few steps away. "Do you mind opening that for me?" He asks after the pad of paper is out of her hands. In his mind he can be his little helper. Bending over to one of the lover cabinets he grabs a slightly different version of a grill. Much smaller of course, and flat mostly. Made like a pan. Like the fries it was just easier then going outside and doing it. Putting the item on the counter he starts to get the patties ready to grill, marinating it and such.
Clarity-
Her eyebrows raise, and she rolls her eyes at his comment about Grove. He should really stop calling her princess. She had a way to big of an ego, and Kai-With his own fairly large ego- was just making it much worse. "Then I guess she'll just have to do without you. I'm sure you two can last a day or so away from each other." She murmurs as her sister giggles, completely repulsed by it all. She's never admit though that she's be somewhat upset when Kai and Motoko did leave. "It was just a conversation starter, jeez. And if I must remind you, you didn't Rescue me. I simply tripped and you helped me up. Which is just being a good citizen." She retorts, shaking her head at him in a playfully snotty way. It was funny how he was strangely adorable when he was being...spunky? Was that the word? The way he crossed his arms, and all. "I'm very good, thank you for asking." She says happily, glad that he had asked her back. Though in her dazed mood, she's only aware of a few things. Like seeing something being handed to her uncounsiously reaching for it. The large hand against her cheek surprises her, so she turns to him. "Wha-what are you doing, stop that." Deep down, her skin shivers at his touch, but it's to far down for Clarity to pay attention to.
