"Going with it." The girl was humming a song while writing words that she thought fit the beat down. She continued this for an hour until she was finished. She looked up at her clock. It was midnight. "Better get ready for bed." She stood up and went to her bathroom. When she opened the oak door she found a bunny...with wings. "What?! How did you get in here? What ARE you!?" She shouted pointing a paw at the bunny. Unfortunately her bracelet was unclasped and went flying off, hitting the bunny upside his head. She took the bunny wrapped him in a blanket and put an ice pack on the quickly rising lump. "Jeez, he could at least stay conscious. It's rude to fall down unconscious in another person's house." But none the less, she took care of him until he seemed comfy and went to her own room. In the morning the girl went into the bathroom again to find this bunny stuck, in the toilet. "how did that happen?' she said to no-one in particular as she went to pull the guy out of her toilet. "I don't know, one moment Im hiding eggs and the next I'm in a toilet. Very confusing." He answered as the girl yanked him from the pluming of the toilet. When he was free he talked, AGAIN. "I will grant you two gifts. Because you saved me twice!" She just sat down and rubbed her temples, tired of having to deal with this magic bunny. "I know!" The bunny shouted."every time you write a song you can get a baby! These babys were someone else's baby but they died. Your second gift will be that there alive!" He smiled at his ingenious gifts and disappeared with a pink POOF. "Slam" she heard a sound from her writing room and looked in. Sitting on her desk was a baby, looking dazed. "This isn't a gift! Bunny, this isn't a gift! Im 19, I don't want a kid! Im in collage, living in an apartment, this wasn't a gift!" she shouted running around the room. But there was no bunny. And there was a hungry baby. "Might as well feed you, cause kid your stuck with me now." she picked up the squirming baby and headed out to the store. "I don't think I want to be a song writer anymore." she said.

A dog that almost seemed to look like a raccoon, sleepily pushed the alarm on his clock. Opening his eyes, you saw a beautiful powder blue. As he stood, a voice called from a distance, "Mason! Time to wake up!" The voice was quite sweet, but Mason seemed just to groan as he got up, "Coming Ms. Finn!" He called back, groaning as he went into the bathroom. Mason splashed some water on his face trying to wake up. Then he grabbed a coat, putting it on his slick fur. Ms. Finn was his maid which made him a bit at ease as she called. Walking down the stairs lazily, he was hoping this day would go by fast.

A wonderful female dog was curled in her bed of leaves and ferns, rocks and pebbles lining all around it. Her astonishing purple eyes looked around, a lot of animals making noises. As she got up, the girl stretched and smiled. It had only been a day since her brother died and she had almost forgot. A charming voice echoed in her head once she had forgotten, "Hey Rachel, little bro is hungry!" Tears boiled in her eyes as she got up, getting into her normal cloths. Maybe she was worthless, maybe she was next to die. Trying to shake the thoughts she started to watch her surroundings, her stomach growling.

The Girl and her Porcelain Egg

I squeezed my eyes shut to try and stop the tears from coming but they flooded over, my daddy should have been home now. He had said he would be. Glancing at the porcelain egg he had given me before he left, I clumsily scooped it from the window sill, wrapping my arms around it. Mommy had told me that if I hug it and think of Daddy then it will be like he is there. I do this every day, usually just for a few minutes but on days where I'm worried, I might hug it for hours. Mommy said that Daddy was fighting for us to be safe. There was a war going on and Daddy had to help. But I thought he would be home now. Mommy just told me he wasn't coming home. Feeling arms wrap around me, I open my eyes and see my mother's familiar face, though it was twisted in great sadness as she set her head on mine and rocked me back and forth. We sat like that for a while, just hugging each other and the egg. She sang me a lullaby and told a few stories about her and my father.
And that's when the bombs hit.
