"Sure," Nico nods, getting to his feet with a smile.

[princess pudding]

Once they had gone into the kitche, Haru realized she'd left a mess. The tub of ice cream was in the middle of the room, while shards of a bull scattered the area. She giggled nervously, stroking her hair.

[k i n g]

"Did you do this?" Nico chuckles.

[princess pudding]

"Maybe," Haru snuffled her feet, then quickly picked up the shards. "Um...eating ice cream alone isn't much fun?" She rubbed the back of her head with a nervous grin, and picked up the tub. "Nevermind, that." She quietly pulled out two bowls, and spoons. She scooped out two large scoops of ice cream into his bowl. Haru pointed to it, "Ice cream."

[k i n g]

"I know, Haru. I figured if it's in my bowl, it's ice cream," Nico laughs.

[princess pudding]

Haru cracked a grin. "Well, you seem pretty clueless when it comes to human stuff." She scooped one for herself, and kicked the tube aside.

[k i n g]

"Yeah. It's lot mroe different than 1812," Nico chuckles, taking a bite of ice cream.

Haru looked at the bowl thoughtfully, forgetting the ice cream in front of her. Her face suddenly looked serious. "If I'm going to stay this age, doesn't that mean we'll both be alive...forever?"

[k i n g]

"Until someone kills us. Why do you ask?"

[princess pudding]

"it just doesn't sound right." Haru was looking at her hands now, puzzled. "None of it does. My heart still beats, my blood still pulses...so why won't I age?" There was frustration in her eyes. Why couldn't anything make sense for once?
