Suddenly, Grayheart regained consiousness. "My kits!" She yowled weakly.

Cedarpelt picked up Icekit by the scruff, carrying her back to camp.

JaggerClaw coughed a bit and looked up. "im, ok, I think." She lowered her head again and straighten her stance. She wouldn't think any explaining would get her out of a punishment,even though she just wanted to teach the kit some. She wearily walked towards where the mouse was buried. "We got some prey though."

Grayheart realized she couldn't hold in the kits much longer, so without a medicine cat, she yowled as the first kit slid out.

Cedarpelt dropped Icekit at the nursery, when he heard Grayheart in the nursery. "Hi honey.." He looked startled as Grayheart gave birth. "SOMEONE! MY MATE IS GIVING BIRTH!"

Icekit ran back out of the nursery, while Cedarpelt was distracted, she ran back into the forest, hoping to find Jaggerclaw again.

[Seasonal]

Shadowheart figured that she may as well do what she could to help Grayheart. She gathered her kits at the corner of the nursery and made sure she kept her eye on them. "Lick this one clean, Grayheart," she explained, remembering what she had done two sunrises ago. "You're doing fine."

Dovestar lay her tail on Jaggerclaw's back to guide her. "Let's get back to camp," she said, concern in her eyes.

Cedarpelt noticed Icekit running out fo the corner of his eye. "Shadowheart, Get Icekit please! Man, WHERE IS THE MEDICINE CAT!" Cedarpelt meowed loudly. Grayheart's firstkit was stuck, and half of the body was sticking out of Grayheart's warm lower belly, while the other half stuck in her sleek body still.

[Pk.]

Icekit was lost for a moment, then saw the outline of Dovepelt coming back, she flattened her ears and hid in a bush.

[Seasonal]

"Oh, and I expect you can help her give birth!" Shadowheart snapped. "Just please, watch my kits." Shadowheart padded out of the nursery and ran after Icekit, not exactly sure what was going on.

JaggerClaw nodded pitifully. She walked slowly, glad to have her leader there to guide her.

Icekit saw Shadowheart, she slunk farther into the bush, hoping they wouldnt find her.
