Hunters- She hates hunters with ferocity. Mostly because they killed her parents.
Floods- Tokime is always on the look out for floods, even though she lives quite high up, she tries to make sure no other animals are being harmed by a flood.

History/Background:
"Please mother may we eat now?" I pleaded as my stomach growled.

Me and my sister were starving, and by the looks of it, weren't getting anything soon. The storm outside was raging and my father still hadn't returned. As a drop hit me in the face, I cowered back. An earsplitting sound hit the air, and I watched a small body plummet from the tree beside us, the body of my father. I didn't know what had happened, but tears began to stream down my mothers face. "We need to get out of here, now!" She leapt over to the next tree, scrambling to get me and my sister with her, but before I could jump onto the branch after them, and before I new what was happening, my mother was shot down.
"Arielle, come back!" But my sister launched herself into the floodwater, swimming through it with grace.

I watched her wave and she swam away to safety. Left alone in the tree, I sat down with a sigh, staring down with hate at the hunter. Holding two bodies up by their tails, I could hardly stand to look. I could only lay down, and pray to live. I tucked my paws under my body, huddled against the wall, and fell asleep with my fluffy tail over my nose.

When I awoke to a shiver and a chill along the breeze, my nose twitched, it was twitching since I was born, my mother said, and it hasn't stopped. I don't see why the storm hasn't blown over. I'm starting to get hungry, if only the wind wasn't blowing so hard I could stand and grab a guava. I sighed, sinking deeper into my hollow, and begging for the storm to stop.

Name- Hisoka
Gender- Male
Feerling- Number 32
Personality-

Quiet
"I am without sound"

Hisoka's name means secret, or concealed in japanese. Hisoka has a remarkable ability to remain silent even when forced into the toughest of situations. He never seems to panic and he always appears to have a cool head. He enjoys silent, peaceful moments when he's alone and he relishes that soundless sound.

Witty
"You say fight, I say what?"

Hisoka isn't without humor. He enjoys the small, witty joke here and there and he's a master at sarcasm. Some don't even realize that about 80% of what he says is a sarcastic remark. This quiet boy isn't as innocent as he seems.

Strong
"Life goes on, even when your not there."

Hisoka, at a young age, was forced to bear a heavy, almost unpardonable, burden. Because of this, he's had to grow strong. Through that, he learned how to bear not only his own problems, but other's around him. Some don't even realize that the shoulder their leaning on is his.

Respectful
"I choose who I follow. And I follow my footsteps."

Despite his witty, sarcastic remarks, Hisoka is actually quite respectable. He respects those who deserves his respect, and he follows those he thinks deserve to be followed. He's an excellent judge of character, and yet he refrains from speaking his mind unless he wishes to do so. He's quite an amazing character.

Attitude- Generally keeps to himself, but not at all shy.
Skills/Talents- Well, he's particularly good at surviving. in this case, I'd have to say he's amazingly fast and light on his feet. he often use's it to run, which is his favorite exercise.
Fears- For some reason, Hisoka has Cleisiophobia, or a fear of being enclosed into a small space. He doesn't have Claustrophobia, but can't stand the idea of something purposely locking him inside a shrine and leaving him there.
Hobbies/Interests- He loves to run and is an excellent fighter. He also enjoys sleeping and watching the clouds roll by. He loves music and always seems to be humming something new.
Attitude Toward Death- Mutual. He doesn't fear it, but he isn't ready to die just yet.
Fetishes/Strange Behaviors- He has a habit of flicking his tail to the left whenever he's irritated.

Likes- Kisoka enjoys a variety of things, none of which are remarkably notable. he loves just sitting and watching the world move by. He could sit for hours and watch a flame as it flickers on it's candle stick. He's fascinated by small, silver plantings and wishes that he could have his own wrist cuff.

Dislikes- Kisoka absolutely hate's plan where he's the bait. He'd much rather be the one who sneaks into places. He dislikes stubborn people and he intensely hates people who are self-righteous.

History/Background:

Hisoka was born in Kagoshima, Japan. It was here, during the Kamakura era, that Hisoka was sealed by a wandering monk who mistook him for a uni-tailed Kitsune. This story is of before and after he was sealed.

Before

Hisoka yawned, glancing with a lazy eye over the river at the small village that was nestled between the small mountains of Kagoshima. It was an unseasonably warm day in the middle of Spring, a warm wind blowing from the south. He flicked his tail, watching as a bug hummed quietly on a flower that sat before him.

He had nothing to do. Hunting was out as he had caught a few mice before and buried them for later. They would last for the next day or so. Swimming was out. The humans were finally walking about, splashing in the shallows of the wide, gaping river that separated the forest and the village. He watched as two, small human children splashed into the warm water, yelping with glee.

He smiled with amusement. Even when so different in behavior and appearances, they were not so different from their own young. He sighed and stood up, wandering back into the large, bonsai forest. In actuality, a variety of trees lingered within this old forest. Some of which had not even been identified yet.

He relished the feel of the smooth, piny floor beneath his feet and he padded forward, watching as small animals moved about, keeping a sign out for the larger predators such as himself. He grimaced slightly as he came upon an old, ruin statue, a small shrine at it's base. It was a rather vague depiction of a kitsune, sitting sagely with all of it's three tails.

He had always loved these ruins, but something about this one always set him on edge. perhaps it was the half open stone eyes, watching him with more attention than he cared for? Or perhaps it was the semblance to himself. His tail was long and bushy, the spikes quivering slightly.

He snorted. he resembled a porcupine more so than a kitsune. Maybe even a weasel. He chuckled and turned to head towards the monastery, where he knew the older ruins would be waiting. He didn't even hear the monk as he slipped the rope around his neck. he choked out a gasp of surprise as he felt a rush of energy flowing through him, pinning him to the ground. He glared up at the monk, hissing with rage.

The monk began to mutter and chant, a small smile on his scarred face. Hisoka felt his body began to grow lethargic. His eyes drooped and he snarled halfheartedly. He couldn't even declare revenge before his eyes slid shut and he felt his mind slide away, like water in his paws.

After

Hisoka shuddered, opening his eyes. A cold chill ruffled against his fur, so unlike the warm breeze he had felt, only moment before the monk had sealed him. He opened his eyes, standing up and shaking his fur out. He glared at the rope around his neck, listening to the sharp, clear toll that emitted from the bell. He looked around, confusion slowly taking place for his irritation.

People rushed about, completely oblivious to the small shrine. He looked at the kitsune and was astonished to see it more worn than ever. Moss crawled up it's side and a large crack had appeared in it's forehead. He glanced back at the humans, looking for any tell tale sign of where he was. He saw the rushing river, now reduced to a small trickle, a little bridge set over it. Human children shivered and giggled, waking over the bridge one by one as they played a strange game.

"Disorienting, isn't it?"

A voice said behind him. He whirled around, his spikes quivering, coming face to face with a white haired man. He had ice blue eyes and pale skin. He took a drag on the cigarette in his mouth, smiling down at him. "Relax. I'm the one who released your seal." He said. Hisoka frowned. Seal? he wondered. The man pointed at the dilapidated shrine at the kitsune's feet.

"You were sealed in there. If I had to guess, I'd say for about, oh, 800 years."
